Good morning all!

We have just learned that Save This Life, the microchip company that we have used for many many years, has unexpectedly shut down nationwide without any warning. They are no longer responding to customer calls, emails, or inquiries. Unfortunately, this means your pets Save This Life microchips are no longer functional for reuniting you with your pet. Luckily these chips are universal and can be transferred to another registry.

To ensure your pets microchip remains an effective safety tool to reunite you both if needed, we recommend transferring to another trusted registry.

Here are some options:
⭕️ Free Pet Chip Registry: A free, universal registry for any microchip brand. Visit freepetchipregistry.com.
⭕️ Other registries: You can look up additional reputable options. Please note some may charge a small fee.

If you aren’t sure of your pets microchip number, give us a call and we can provide it to you or have you run in to get your pet scanned!

Omg we have fallen in LOVE with this sweet rescue!!! Wilbur came to us as an owner surrender after they had exhausted all their options to get him the treatment he needed. Wilbur had escaped his home and somehow fractured his leg. The Dr at the time felt the best option was to amputate his leg. By the time Wilbur made it to us the incision had become so badly infected we didn’t know if we would be able to save this poor boys life. Dr. Schwab felt like he deserved the chance and offered to take him as financially the owner could not continue multiple surgeries to try to repair all the damage done. Fast forward about a month Wilbur is doing amazing and is all healed!!!! He is now up for adoption and looking for a home. Wilbur will be a special needs kitty that must have a very safe home with easy access to his litter box as he only has 3 legs. He also must be 100% indoors and be in a home that can be very cautious he doesn’t escape again. He absolutely loves getting attention and snuggles ❤️ with his history we will keep him until we find the perfect home. It’s a miracle this boy is even still alive. The photos are too graphic to post or I would share how much this sweet boy has been through. As always vet references are a must and all animals in your home must be current on all vaccines/ prevention and also have record of routine vet care. Huge shoutout to Dr. Schwab for all she did for Wilbur…. Without her he definitely wouldn’t be here today!!!

Does anyone recognize this guy? He was running in Reynoldsburg and one of our staff members picked him up as she was headed out of town. She dropped him off at the police station so he was safe.

Oh my. I hate to post as I will have to
Say goodbye. These are 3 of a group of 5. I hand reared from 1 week of age. They were found in a box on side of road. Eyes still closed. Such unimaginable cruelty. If you have never had the joy of a hand reared cat. You have missed a lot! They are so loving and trusting. All are black. Except for 1 tortie. Hardest to place. Give us a call.

Important this simple procedure is. In last 2 weeks, we have had 4 adult cats come in. People who intended to
Keep them after found them outside their homes. All 4 were miraculously microchipped and we were able to
find all owners! This was amazing and beautiful. Please do this for your furry loved ones. Stuff happens. Cats and dogs escape and are so frightened that capture takes time!!

We wanted to give everyone a quick heads up that Dr. Schwab will be out of the office June 26-July 9th. We will have Dr. Melin or another relief vet filling in during that time. Also the office will CLOSE at 1 on June 28th and will be CLOSED July 4th and reopen on July 8th. During this time if you have an emergency after hours you will need to visit an emergency clinic such as Medvet or OSU. Dr. Schwab always tries to make herself available for calls and emergency visits after hours and weekends when she can but unfortunately we will not have a Dr available to do so those days. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to us at the office.

These 7 kittens are 5 weeks on May 15 th. Almost ready for new homes. A really amazing tiny little mom, Juniper, just a baby herself, managed to Raise a very healthy crew. Pictures of black kittens are the hardest. Just know they are all adorable. 7 kittens so had to be the 7 dwarfs. 2 black males are Doc and D***y. The tabby girl is Sneezy. The gray girl is Sleepy. The runt girl
Is Bashful and the other two
