Are you tired of trying to come up with a puppy training plan by piecing together free advice you find on the internet?

I know I am.

I see a LOT of bad advice online.

I HEAR a lot of bad advice from people just talking with their friends at restaurants.

Moral of the story is: most people don't know what they are talking about :)

And if you take advice from any YaHoo off the street (or on the internet) you can't really be sure it will work.

I wouldn't hang my hopes on that sort of advice at least.

But that's just me.

I have ALWAYS sought out expert advice in my life.

I listen to my parents, professors, coaches and mentors and do my best to not make any of the mistakes they made.

I want my life to be EASY.

I know people who have been where I am, done what I want to do, went through all the trial and error and know how to do it again, better and faster.

So for you, new puppy parent, who has never raised a puppy...

Who has never taught a puppy house training, crate training, manners or obedience commands...

Who doesn't know how to communicate with dogs, what proper nutrition is, or anything about first aid or preventive medicines...

Who essentially has no frame of reference for what living with a dog should look like or what it will require from you...

I encourage you to be like me and take the easy road.

I’ve been finding it difficult to communicate to people what makes my puppy training so different.

So worth the investment.

I have realized that my program is more about creating peace of mind than any of the other training programs I have seen.

What does that mean?

I teach my clients how to train their puppies, and empower them to be able to handle whatever life throws at them.

Life isn’t just a series of training sessions.

There are distractions, unpredictable things happen, you have to deal with people, other dogs, animals, all sorts of things.

How will you make good choices under pressure?

How will you keep your puppy safe?

How will you recognize when there is danger?

Here are some ways.
-by being prepared with dog first aid and CPR knowledge
-by knowing dog body language
-by understanding how dogs think

With this knowledge you can prevent / avoid dog fights and bites and save your dog pain and injury.

That’s one angle.

Then there is the peace of mind that your puppy won’t be a menace and disrupt your household.

Be SURE your puppy won’t…

-Jump on guests
-Put their teeth on people or pull at their clothes
-Potty in the house
-Dig in the yard
-Bark at strangers
-Drag you around on leash

You will notice that group puppy classes DO NOT teach you these things.

I don’t want you to be surprised when these behaviors develop and be unprepared to handle them.

I teach my clients how to nip these problems in the bud, so they don’t struggle with them as their puppy grows bigger and stronger.

I don’t want you to feel embarrassed or to get hurt, or for your family and friends to not want to visit because your dog is unruly.

I want your puppy to be a joy to spend time with. And for them to get to stay in your home forever.

Happily ever after is a big goal.

It’s the goal of my puppy to perfect program.

Not to learn commands, or address problem behavior, or get the biting under control, or house training…

It’s all of it.

Happily ever after takes time and a holistic plan to get to, so that’s what I have created.

Why did you create your Puppy to Perfect Program?

I’m so glad you asked! 🙂

I love helping dogs and people live happily together.

I HATE seeing people frustrated with their adolescent dogs.

STRUGGLING HARD with problem behaviors, fearfulness and on the verge of deciding to REHOME their puppy.

I still hate how many young dogs I see at RESCUES and SHELTERS because their first parents didn’t get the help they needed and at about the 7 month mark…

Decided it was too much, and GAVE UP.

That breaks my heart so I took action to prevent this.

I created a program that teaches new puppy parents EVERYTHING they need to know about puppy raising and training and supports them every step of the way.

Most problem behavior can be traced back to puppyhood.

What you need to know Calm the Puppy Crazies

Knowledge isn’t the problem when it comes to training your puppy.

There is more information out in the world than ever before about house training, teaching obedience commands…you name it!

Literally everything you could want to know is in a book, blog post, podcast, or somewhere on the internet.

So, why is it then that more information doesn’t equal results?

Darnell got his puppies house trained in 2 weeks...so can you!

Let's get your puppy trained! 4 Things You Have GOT TO do Right For Your Puppy Ok, there is A LOT of information on the internet And it is all confusing and contradictory, and also just focuses on the wrong things. I want to clear up some confusion and get you and your puppy started on the right paw. Most people don’t know what they need to do when raising their puppy to make sure they grow up to be a perfect family dog. You know- a dog that is polite and friendly. Who doesn’t pester guests or cause mischief. And certainly doesn’t suffer from any issues like separation anxiety or leash reactivity. The skills your puppy needs to develop in order to be that dog, are taught when they are VERY YOUNG. You should begin training the moment you bring your puppy home. What is Puppy to Perfect? I’m so glad you asked! So I’ve got this new thing going on where I help new puppy parents do everything they need to raise their pup to become the perfect family dog. Dog Training Tip for Stopping Problem Behavior Stop problem behavior so your dog doesn't practice bad habits. Once you are good with managing the problem, you can figure out why it occurs (what motivates your dog to behave that way) then come up with a plan to prevent the problem, teach them what to do instead or how to feel better about the situation.
