This dog park was in the making for over 10 years. We opened August first 2017
It is located within the City of Rhinelander Wi Shepard Park off Boyce Dr.
on the south end of town on the Pelican and Wisconsin Rivers. The Park is named after one of the early settlers famous as a jokester Gene Shepard. We have a small dog and a ALL dog area. with water and rest room near by. Our park has both shaded and sunny areas with a nice walking trail and many seating benches.
