Started with 16 pounds and ended with 3.6 pounds after the freeze drying process

This is my process for making Ranger Bites freeze dried treats.
I just finished a batch of chicken gizzards.
1. Rinse and dry the product
2. Cut into smaller pieces
3. Put product on freeze dryer trays
4. Pre-freeze for 24+ hrs
5. Load trays into freeze dryer
6. Freeze dry (this batch took 24 hrs)
7. Ranger then tests the finished product!
8. Bag product into 1 gallon mylar bags
9. When I get an order, I print labels and put them on the bags and fill them with treats
10. Ship, deliver or have the treats picked up!
It's actually alot of work!

I also had to send a batch of each product to a laboratory to get the guaranteed analysis for my labels.
I have a Wisconsin commercial feed license and my business is insured.
That's all there is to it, HA

I'm giving something new a try, they make great chews for dogs. Chicken feet are made of skin, tendons, and cartilage, and are high in protein, glucosamine, chondroitin, calcium, and collagen. They can also act like a little toothbrush for your dog. I only have 4 bags left. Ranger has been doing lots of testing on them and they passed with flying colors!
