We foster kittens

There is one topic we have not discussed yet this kitten season and it needs to be talked about. Can any one guess? If you guessed free kittens well then you guess right!!!

This is the time of the year where we seeing post after post about Free Kittens! In the rescue world these posts are heart breaking. Now I am not saying EVERY free kitten ends up in a bad situation but what I am saying is the chances are much higher than if they are adopted from a shelter or rescue. Not only are we concerned about them going to a place like a dog fighting ring or to someone with other awful thing in store for them but we get concerned about their level of care they will receive. Will they get fixed, vaccinated, dewormed, or seen by a vet? Right because a free cat is never free really. On top of that whose to say those kittens you get free aren't sick? Panleukopenia is spreading and out of control. A kitten can seem healthy at first but the virus can be incubating in their little bodies. We aren't just seeing cats and kittens from the street coming in with this highly contagious and deadly disease. We are seeing it from cats and kittens who live in homes as well. So just because your free kitten was living in someone's home it doesn't mean it is free from Panleukopenia. We also wonder after they are done being in the cute kitten stage will they be kicked out? Will they add to the overpopulation issue? Will they be left behind when their owners move? These are all things we wonder when we see these post..

Here is what I ask of you as a supporter of our rescue and mission. Tag us in these post and/or give these people resources to rescues in their area. If we can't take them we can guide them to others that may be able to or even help with resources!

We didn't receive a single donation for our last post about rescuing 10 birds from a horrid living situations. We pay for everything out of pocket and our pickets are pretty empty. I had to say no to the person needing help and have been telling folks no for months.
All it takes is a few bucks from a few people to make a difference. Please think of our cause. Praying we get that property this year too. Im not giving up on MARS✌️

We have the chance to save 10 birds from a horrid living situation. We need materials to build or possibly purchase another run. We'd love you're help with being able to rescue these birds and appreciate all your love and support.

2 kitty cats in need of a safe place to land. Their owner was incarcerated and have no where to go. Minnie and Daisy are 4 and 3 years old and are in need of a new loving home. Both are spayed and have their first shots. Both show signs of neglect and stress from their owner being gone but with some time to adjust and safe space should be good as new. Will you be their hero?

Another call from another person needing to rehome their dog. They told me the shelter they adopted from didn't let them introduce their dog they already had to the adoptee and of course they don't get along. Why? Staffing shortages. Guess who's contacting the shelter?

If anyone might be interested in adopting some sheep, and not for slaughter, let us know. I was contacted by someone with a large herd looking to downsize having trouble caring for them financially. It's not an emergency and the animals are healthy. Just looking for adopters. I'd take some but don't have anywhere to keep them.

Just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who has supported us in our endeavor to start an animal rescue and sanctuary. We hope 2023 will bring us the property and space we need to get the job done. We had to turn away so many dogs this winter, which has been very heartbreaking. Rehoming assistance needed for this handsome fella named Spade. His previous owner had to move and was unable to take him. He's looking for a possible foster or new family to love him forever.
Here's what His room mate has to say about the pup.
This is spade ♠️ he is a little more than 1 year old. He loves the car and is good with cats and good natured dogs. He is a little shy with strangers. He is fully potty trained and loves to play with toys. He is fixed and updated with his shots! He needs a home!

Got a phone call today for the need of a temporary foster for a pitbull who's owner is moving and cannot take him with. Good with dogs, cats, small children. Intact male. Not vaccinated but working on getting them soon. As much as I want to yake him in, I'm not sure if our dogs especially our female would be ok with another dog in our small space.
Would anyone be interested in helping this guy?

We are currently taking a paws on receiving intakes until we are able to aquire property of our own. It's just to hard in our little rental space. Please donate, share our page and cause. We are still assisting in finding care for animals in need.

3 adorable, friendly, fun, cute kittens STILL available. Been with us almost 2 weeks with little to no interest. They are all potty trained, have had their first shots and have been flea treated. please message if interested in giving one or two a forever home they so deserve. they are so eager for love.
