Well today, Sandy had a wardrobe change😊
The blanket I originally put on him was too big and for some reason the leg straps kept coming unbuckled so I finally pulled him out this morning and put another blanket on him. That is a better fit. What do you think?

Yay NRS delivered two round bales of hay while I was at Dr pittman‘s yesterday. I’m so grateful for all of the donations that came in to purchase the hay.

URGENT FUND RAISER

Back on October 17, we took in 11 Donkeys and we posted them on the page as Owner released Donkeys. These donkeys actually originally came from ROAR. Stephen Stiteler had taken in 64 animals from ROAR back in June or July. I offered to take in 11 of those donkeys to offer them a safe place and feed HAY and medical and Hoof care. When they arrived at our rescue, I did not want to post that these Donkeys came from ROAR. I certainly could’ve to help donations come in to care for them because many people have followed that saga and drama, and certainly would’ve stepped up knowing they were ROAR Donkeys. I didn’t post this because I like to avoid drama. I think everybody that follows the page knows that I don’t use drama to seek attention or donations.

On December 31, I was contacted by someone stating that law-enforcement is recognizing Jackie Hughes as the owner of the Donkeys and Jackie wanted these 11 Donkeys returned to her. There is way more to the story, but I do not want to get into drama and I will tell the story later. All 11 donkeys were picked up on New Year’s Day. Yesterday they were posted on the Cleburn horse auction website for the upcoming sale this Wednesday. I will be at the sale on Wednesday night to bid on all of the donkeys that were in our care and bring them back to DD Donkeys. These donkeys did not deserve this to be loaded and transported multiple times when they could’ve stayed in our safety. But again, I’m not gonna get into that drama.

If you can donate today, so we have the funds needed to bid at Auction on Wednesday night. I would appreciate it. I am not using the campaign feature on PayPal that shows the total received because I do not want that information made public to untrustworthy people, however everybody knows I’m completely transparent and I will Eventually post the total amount donated.

Hey, you guys Rustic C Ranch Rescue is trying to get 10 donkeys out of the Last Chance pens. We were asked to take these in and we are just too full so we reached out to Rustic C and they are able to take in the Jenny’s and the geldings they are not able to take in the two intact Jacks. Jayne and Tilly, thank you so much for the cash card. I was in great need of new boots and so I picked up a pair today while I was at NRS. my boots had cracks at the bends of the toes. I appreciate your kindness and support so very much. Please let me know what Tilly thinks of the new boots❤️
