An increased number of dogs are being rushed for emergency vetting due to HEAT STROKES. When the temperature rises, it's best for your pet to stay home.

We know they love car rides, and walks, and being everywhere you go- but your dog can quickly decline due to heat stroke.

Especially with the 4th of July, a lot of owners want to spend the time with their pets outdoors- but this should be a limited time, and limited energy exerted. Provide lots of cool water. When traveling never leave your pet in the car without the A/C going. ❤️🐾

Sweet and goofy GIZ is looking for his furever family! Giz is a 4 month Shihtzu mix with a fun loving spirit, and a little bloop tongue. He does great with other dogs, loves his toys, and will provide endless love, laughs and cuddles to his adopters! (Giz says, "Don't mind the bad hair day, we got caught in the rain")

These boys are 10/11 week old beagle/jrt mixes... and are ready to be your best friends! They joined LRBDR when we received a call of 6 pups wandering a farm and needing someone where to go. They can be a little shy in new situations, but then their fun and outgoing spirit shines through.

Wether you're looking for a companion to be lazy on the couch with, or a buddy for car rides and walks in the woods.. these kids will love to be by your side!

This is a courtesy post for a local family that is moving and cannot take their pup with them, therefore he needs a new home. 🐾🤞

This dog is not with LRBDR, but we are sharing his information in hopes of finding him a home! There is a rehoming fee to ensure he has an amazing home.

“Jack is 7 years old, and a lab mix. We got him as a young pup from a family friend and had him his whole life. He does great with kids that are respectful and great with other dogs.
He really LOVES to play fetch with his frisbee, and even more in the water!
He does have prey drive so no cats, chickens or small animals.
He has lots of energy for his age, but also has really good leash manners.
He’s chill in the house, loves laying on his dog beds.
He’d be a great adventure buddy!
Neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, potty trained and knows basic commands.”

ADOPTABLE!

JEN is nothing short of amazing. When she arrived, she came as a scared, shut down breeder release. Jen was afraid of everything, and would take any opportunity to run away and hide behind anything she could find. She shook in fear of a gentle touch, but now? Now Jen runs to her caregivers, she's shakes her b***y with absolute joy and love for attention. She bounces around with pure happiness to a world she never knew before arriving.

Jen is a 2 year old mini poodle, she does great with other dogs, and if you met her at the most recent adoption event, you could see her going up to greet visitors. Jen's leash and house training is going fantastic. Her future home would be one that would give her a few days to settle in, and in return Jen will provide a lifetime of laughs and love.

Her adoption fee is $375 and includes up to date vaccinations for distemper/parvo, bordatella, rabies, microchip, preventative treatments, spay and certified vet inspection!

We want to thank Catkins Animal Rescue, Inc and County Humane Society for opening their doors and hearts to these kids!

We were able to pull these adorable kids, make sure they got ready for transfer, and then meet these amazing volunteers who transported them to their receiving shelters! Huge THANK YOU'S go out to these great people for taking the time to get them safe! 🥰❤️🐾
