Made it thru Harvey with 30+" of rain, but blessed we live on a high hill. All roads to town were flooded but we prepped well and managed. Watching all the devistation surrounding us was heartbreaking and humbling at the same time. Prayers to those in the path of Irma and hoping Jose just becomes a passing thought. Be safe and prayers for all!

Baled 2 of the 4 fields with 47 bales. Blew the front end hydraulic controller and now waiting on parts so we can get them out of the field. Going to pick up a trailer load of metal roofing tomorrow and get started on the remaining 2 fields....looks like we'll break 100 round bales with our 1st cut this season...woohoo! Anyone looking for some quality clean hay in the area, look me up.

Discing the garden the other day before the rain and found this really awesome mule shoe...it probably dates back to when our property was farmed for cotton, which would mean its been in this ground over 100 years :) So glad it has a home again.
