Odin is an expert snuggler who loves everyone he meets! He has the softest spaniel-y ears and the cutest litttle nubbin tail that goes a mile minute when he's happy (which is most of the time).

This sweet 2(ish) year old is hoping 2025 brings him to his forever family.

Our adorable French bulldog puppy, Beret, got his Christmas wish and was adopted by his foster family shortly before the holiday!! Now named Bucky, he joins a fun family with a mom, dad and two human sisters to grow up with. The girls had been asking to keep Beret but it was kept a secret until Christmas when they were given an adoption certificate with their gifts. :)

Bucky (whose original name was Ferrari before being renamed Beret) came to RHS after his owner passed away. He was fostered and later adopted by Crystal N and family.

Thanks to everyone who helped Beret find his Happy Tale, and Happy New Year!

Rosie Pie (and her brother Scouty Pants) are still looking for their forever home this holiday season!

They would love to be adopted together and are best buddies. Rosie has one of the most unique coats we've seen all year- she looks like a little dove and her purr sounds that way, too! It's kind of a scream-coo-purr??? Either way, she's purrrfect!

Even before Lisa and her family left Washington to come to Texas they knew they wanted a dog, but they also knew that Texas had one of the highest rates of homeless/shelter animals in the country, so they waited until they moved here to start their search.

Fortunately, Skipper had decided to wait too. Born last December, he is the last of the nine Gilligan’s Island puppies to get adopted. Why it took so long we don’t know, but I like to think it was Kismet.

Skipper, now Nico, joins a young family with two cats. He’s spoiled silly, goes to the dog park weekly for doggy romps, cozies up to the kitties on chilly nights, and is very, very well-loved.

HUGE thank you to Melanie Young and her family who kept Skipper until just the right family came along. He will be missed.

Scouty Pants and Rosie Pie are two siblings looking for their forever home.

They were found outside when they were tiny little potatoes, but after being bottle fed, they're big enough to find their forever home (hopefully together!)

Scout is a medium/longhair kitten who will probably have the most ✨luxurious✨ coat when he's all grown up (calling all Maine c**n lovers!) and Rosie has one of the most beautiful colorings we've ever seen! She looks like like a little dove and purrs like one, too.

These kiddos are eligible for our foster to adopt program.

Two lucky dogs got their Christmas wishes and found their fur-ever homes this week!

Our sweet French bulldog puppy, Georgia Skyes, convinced her foster family that she should be a permanent part of the pack and was adopted on Wednesday! Now called just Georgia, she joins a small family with a mom, dad and two canine siblings named Ella and Lady Bird. Her new mom works at What a Great Dog so she has a "paw up" on training already. :)

Found as a stray in her foster mom's yard, Georgia was fostered and adopted by Martha, who sent some really beautiful holiday photos of Georgia and her siblings!

Also adopted this week was our tiny puppy with the big personality, Ebby! She now has a dad and a work-from-home mom (who's always available for petting!), a feline sister named Kiki and a canine brother named Sam. While Kiki isn't thrilled with having a puppy around, Sam adores Ebby (is obsessed with her, according to their mom!). Sam had been lonely after the family's older dog, Melinda, passed away earlier this year, and when her Mom saw Ebby on Petfinder, she had an immediate feeling that Ebby would be the one to lift Sam's spirits. :)

Ebby was rescued from a local shelter where she'd been brought in as a stray at a mere 6 weeks of age. She was fostered first by Patti (who's a real estate agent and named Ebby after real estate legend Ebby Halliday) and then by Naomy and Nik.

Thanks to everyone who helped these sweet girls achieve their happily ever after!

Don't forget that everyone's favorite fundraiser is TOMORROW (December 3) as we bring back Dine-to-Donate with !!! A portion of all sales that day will be donated to RHS to help us continue our mission to rescue and rehome pets in need.

So put that leftover turkey back in the fridge for one more day and enjoy a delicious seafood meal while helping save dogs and cats!! Eat at the restaurant or take it home - all orders all day long count!

🚨FOSTER NEEDED🚨

🐈 Happy Caturday, Cool Cats and Kittens! 🐈

About 8 weeks ago, three tiny kittens were found outside without their mom. Thanks to the incredible support of our community, they’ve been lovingly cared for and are now healthy, playful, and 8 weeks old!

However, their current fosters have holiday commitments, so we’re looking for a **permanent foster** for these sweet brothers.

The hard work is done—they’re eating on their own and using the litter box! They just need a cozy spot to call home until they’re adopted.
