Maybe some of us rescue/save animals because it helps us heal from the times when we needed help, and it never came.
Maybe we tried to save people and learned that it isn't possible.
Maybe some of save/rescue animals simply because they deserve to know that someone cares.
I would not change my profession or regret my currently saved 12 animal critters!
