It's getting chilly! 🥶Cold weather can affect your pet's joints, skin, activity, and routines. Here are a few tips to prepare your pet for wintertime:
- Provide a warm and cozy space off of the floor and away from drafts
- Sweaters or jackets are great for short-haired, small or senior pets
- Limit your pet's time outside in the extreme cold
- Some pets' nutrition needs might change during the winter. Talk to your vet if you think this might be the case.

On Monday, Dr. Keshvari successfully performed her first emergency C-section on a French Bulldog, and we are thrilled to share that both Mom and her puppies are doing great! 💕🐾

An announcement from Dr. Erica and Dr. Scott:

Dear BPAH Family,
With mixed emotions, Erica and I are announcing our retirement. Our last day will be September 17th.
It has been an honor to care for you and your pets over the last 30 years. The trust you placed in us and our team to care for your furry family members has been a privilege and we will always cherish the relationships we have built. Watching pets grow, recover from illnesses, and live healthy, happy lives has been one of the most rewarding parts of our journey in building the hospital of our dreams.
Although we will miss the day-to-day interactions with you and your pets, we look forward to the next phase of our lives knowing that you are in excellent hands with Dr. Donnelly, Dr. Hicks, Dr. Greene, Dr. Keshvari and Dr. Elias. They are all committed to maintaining the standard of care and service that we have always strived for. They share the same values we carried with us in building BPAH from day one.
Thank you again for allowing us to be a part of your pet’s lives. It has been a true privilege.
