MEET (Mar)TINI! 🍸
This adorable, sweet and cuddly girl was brought in as a stray at 8 weeks with a broken femur and other mild injuries. Her femur was repaired and she was nursed (and spoiled!) back to health.

Tini is 4 months old and ready to be your new best friend. ❤️

Please let us know if you want to meet her. 🐾

Wildlife Wednesday: Coyote Mating Season

As we approach the end of January, it’s important to recognize that coyote mating season is underway and will continue through March. This means we may see and hear more coyotes in our neighborhoods, so keeping our pets safe is essential.

To minimize encounters, be sure to remove any food sources that might attract coyotes, such as pet food left outside or fallen fruits and seeds. Always supervise your pets when they’re outdoors, especially during dawn and dusk, and keep them on a leash to prevent unexpected interactions. If possible, create a secure area for your pets to play safely.

If you do encounter a coyote, you can use hazing techniques to encourage it to leave. Making noise by clapping or shouting, shining a flashlight, or tossing small stones nearby (but not at) can help deter them.

By taking these precautions, we can ensure a safer environment for our pets and ourselves. If you have any concerns, please reach out to us. Let’s enjoy our wildlife responsibly! 🐾🌿
