The trick to dog grooming is making sure the pup feels comfortable and relaxed the whole way through. Take this little girl, for example—when she first came to us, she was scared, unsure, and wanted nothing to do with the grooming trailer. It took a little patience, a lot of reassurance, and a firm yet friendly chat about who actually gets to control the radio, but before long, she realized it wasn’t so bad. Now? She struts in like she owns the place, all smiles and tail wags!

Meet Pudge! This little guy is as cute as a button and as handsome as they come. But today, he had to endure the ultimate indignity—a bath (gasp!) and having his “business” photographed for social media.

But don’t worry, there’s a good reason for it!

If you look closely, you’ll see little red marks on his skin—unfortunately, the result of allergies. That’s exactly why his mama called us! Just like people, dogs can come into contact with irritants that cause discomfort until they’re properly washed away. Luckily, we have specialized shampoos and conditioners designed to soothe irritation and help pups feel their best. And while Pudge’s face may say, “How could you do this to me?”—we promise, he felt 10x better afterward!
