style. A large dog swimming pool and a swimming pool for medium/small dogs. Shade Sails help keep the pools at a cool and comfortable temperature. K9 synthetic grass covers 3/4 of the yard along with decomposed granite that won’t harbor pests, or create mud. Tunnels to run through and berms to climb on make this a sought after Canine Adventure Center! Log on to our webcams to watch your furry friend having a great adventure! The Velvet Snout specializes in Boarding, Daycare, Grooming, and Training, for all dogs in a fun and caring environment. Many of you have known our manager Justine Stewart for many years. She and her sisters lost their father recently. I wanted to post this if any of you would like to help.

Hello friends,
My sisters and I are trying to get our dad to his final resting place…
Dad was a working class hero, a talented musician and songwriter. He was a lover of animals and rescued many through the years. He raised his daughters with a gentle hand and compassion. He was truly my best friend and my rock through some of the most difficult times of my life. Taking care of him the last 4yrs wasn’t too hard. We had great help. Loving him was super easy. Watching him disappear little by little, week after week was excruciating tho. Dementia is not a kind disease. By the time dad passed, my heart had already shattered and simply laid broken all around me for a long long time. Now that he has transitioned, we are trying to heal. It is really important to us that dad be interred and laid to rest with his family. Please read our story in the link and consider some small contribution if you’re able. I would appreciate any thing and thank you thank you, from the bottom of my heart for even taking the time to read this.

Today, we say goodbye to an incredible person who spent so much of her life devoted to what she loved. She was a longtime employee of The Velvet Snout, only recently retiring. Her dedication to her work was undeniable. A loyal, hardworking, and compassionate soul, she brought warmth and care to everything she did. She simply had a special way of making everyone feel seen and loved. We will miss her so much!

Her absence will be felt deeply, but her spirit lives on in the love she poured into those around her. We will remember her as a true friend, a kind-hearted person, and a dedicated worker who always gave her best. Rest easy, Ms. Judy.
