At The Velvet Snout, you will find large indoor and outdoor play areas with dogs separated by size and temperament and an experienced, professional staff committed to making sure each day at day care is a fun adventure for your dog. We offer dog boarding with luxury suites and spacious dog day care playrooms. Other amenities include 2 huge outdoor play yards divided by size, temperament, and play

style. A large dog swimming pool and a swimming pool for medium/small dogs. Shade Sails help keep the pools at a cool and comfortable temperature. K9 synthetic grass covers 3/4 of the yard along with decomposed granite that won’t harbor pests, or create mud. Tunnels to run through and berms to climb on make this a sought after Canine Adventure Center! Log on to our webcams to watch your furry friend having a great adventure! The Velvet Snout specializes in Boarding, Daycare, Grooming, and Training, for all dogs in a fun and caring environment. Our facility offers a clean and healthy environment for your dog to play and learn to be with other people and dogs. We provide special care for your dog when you have to be away, or a vacation for them while you are on vacation. We’d love to provide them with a spa day or day of play and enrichment.

Sometimes I feel like we can learn so much from the simplicity a dog's life brings. They don't get caught up in overthinking or worrying about tomorrow. They live fully in the present, finding joy in the smallest of things - a walk, a treat, just being with the ones they love.

They remind us that happiness doesn't have to be complicated, that sometimes it's the simplest moments that mean the most. In their uncomplicated way of living, they show us what it means to truly be present and content with what we have and not to take anything for granted at all.

MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR JUDY KLASKY:

We invite you to join us in honoring the life and memory of Judy Klasky. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 10 AM at Crowley Park, 2551 East Lookout Dr., Richardson, Texas.
This will be a time to reflect, share memories, and celebrate Judy‘s impact on our lives.
Attendees are welcome to bring leashed pets to remember her special love for the animals.
