For your last minute procrastinators, we will open tomorrow at 10 for you to get ready for the storm that’s coming through. We will close when the winter weather starts. It looks like that will be about two. Don’t wait till the last minute to get what you need. We will probably open late Saturday. it all depends on the weather. Stay warm,stay safe, and don’t forget about your outdoor animals. Make sure they don’t have ice on their water source, and they are blocked from the wind as best you can .

Due to a recent serious health issue that the drs think we can treat and eliminate, Jared and I made a hard decision. Folks that Know me know I LOVE the store, I LIVE to see You guys and to find out how your kids are Doing, how YOU are Doing, if you finally got that HUGE buck!!!

In the process of handling the store and all it entails, a serious toll has been taken on my health. The drs. Have made it clear that I cannot continue this road and have a life I can remember and participate in.

We had 3 choices.. do nothing and ignore the drs, close the door to try and heal quickly, or try to find a compromise. After much consideration, Jared decided we
Will try a 4 day work week and see if that is enough to jump start My recovery. Effective immediately, we will be closing on Mondays as well as Wednesday and Sunday.

Normally closed on Wednesdays.
THANKSGIVING DAY WE ARE OPEN FROM 10-2!!!

Red Bug Barn has cob corn for $10.00 cash or $12.00 card…. Plus tax. Hours are closed Wednesday and Sunday open Monday-Tuesday-Thursday and Friday from 11-7. Saturdays from 9-7.
If you need usoutside these hours for a bulk purchase(20 bags or more), we will do our best to accommodate!

OK y’all! The power is out at the store… If light permits, I can still take customers as long as you have cash only. Cash only!
Also, do not go past my driveway as there is a line down past my driveway I repeat do not come up Elliot Road and go past my driveway. It is too dangerous! My driveway is fine, it is safe. But not pass it.

EDIT:: Guys! I cannot answer messages and voice mails all day!lol. I am the only one here.. that’s why said must apply in person! Updated info:
**hours: Closed on Sundays and Wednesdays. Open Saturdays 9-7, and the other days are 11-7.
**If we are open, you can get an application.
**Pay is DOE. That, along with all other questions, will be answered when/if I interview you.
**please don’t show up getting applications for others or make folks apply. It’s a waste Of my resources and theirs. Believe it or not, we can usually tell.
We are looking to hire someone for about 10 hours a week. Helper will be doing cleaning, stocking, being my arms and legs, and working the register when I have to have time off. MUST be able to: follow my directions, know how to stay busy, and stay off the phone while at work. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. we also have cats and chickens…helper will have to take care of both. If you don’t love cats and aren’t able to go back and forth to the chickens, I’m afraid this is not the job for you. No messages on FB, text, phone calls will be answered. Candidates must apply in person. Feel free to share.

EDIT: Thanks so much to all my customers and friends who have offered their condolences. She was a Christian, and I have no doubt I will see her again someday! I apologize for any disruption of our business that occurred during this time and will do my best to make it up to you!

My aunt passed away this morning. I am not sure how this week is going to pan out with our hours, as I am the only one working right now. I will try to give everyone as much notice as possible about changes in our hours so I can be present for my family. Please try to be understanding….I love the store, but family comes first.
