‼️Gate update ‼️

Attention all members. Today the contractor for the entrance gate came out to work on the motor and it is operational again.

HOWEVER, new parts on the motor are currently being tested. When you approach the gate, it should open for your vehicle as normal. However, we are asking everyone to not assume that the gate will completely close behind them. Please drive forward past the gate and wait to confirm that the gate has indeed completely closed behind you before proceeding onto the property. Do not assume that if it is closing, that it has closed all the way. Wait to see that happen.

This process is especially important around sunset when the gate detection laser can be falsely triggered by direct sunlight shining on the laser reflector during Fall season hours.

In the event that the gate does not open for your vehicle when you approach it, or if the gate does not close completely, please do the following:
1. Disengage the gate motor by pulling the large red handle outward.
2. Manually close the gate.
3. Re-attach the (2) "manual mode" gate signs so that other members know that the gate is not functioning again and is in "manual mode."
4. Contact the board through the clubsite Contact Us webpage (http://www.richlandriders.org/contactus.htm) and let us know that the gate has not functioned properly and is now in "manual mode."

Thank you for your patience and cooperation with this process as we get the entrance gate back to normal operation.

📣RRC - Main Arena Lights - Update📣

This morning, a crew of the City of Richland Electrical Services stopped by the club. The main arena lights can be turned ON when needed.

However, the technicians indicated that there is a possibility of a loose connection in the power line connecting the main arena lights, which is not easy to detect/locate. Therefore, there is a risk that the lights will trip again in strong winds or heavy rain conditions.
Let the Board know if there is any other issue with the arena lights, and the Board will have the City of Richland technicians back to the RRC to fix it.

(and please don't forget to turn the arena lights OFF when you are done riding in the arena).
Thank you.

RRC - Water to the south barns is back ON

The water to the "south barns" was turned back ON this morning thanks to club member Joe Lynch who spent a few hours digging and repairing the broken underground pipe.

Note that it is somewhat a temporary fix so that the water tanks can be refilled during the hot season. A contractor has been contacted to replace the old brittle underground water supply line nearby barn #34.

Thank you.

RRC - Water to the south barns is turned OFF

The water to the "south barns" was turned OFF tonight as it was identified that the underground water supply line broke down right in front of barn #34. This resulted in a large flooding in front of barns #31 through 34.
It was verified that the water tanks in the south barns were full or they were refilled when needed.
The Board will contact a contractor tomorrow morning so that the underground pipe is repaired as soon as possible.
Thank you.
