Update: Stubbs is back with us. He was hit by a car and in pretty rough shape but he is going to make it. This community as a whole has been incredible to us. I cannot begin to thank everyone who has helped us out. I have had complete strangers dedicate their weekend to helping me find my dog. I have had locals spread the word. I had a local dog food rep emailing every vet in the area so they were on the lookout when they got in this morning. It was good Samaritans who found him. He is in rough shape but this community saved his life. Thank you all so much. I love you all.
We are passing through the Richland/Jackson area for the first time. I jumped out to check fluids and toss in some fuel. My stupid ass left the windows down while truck was off fueling up.
Stubbs must have hopped out and walked away at some point during the 5-7 minutes i wasn't paying attention. We were right next to a busy highway a by the time I realized he wasn't in the truck he was gone. I have been looking high and low for the last 2 days. I have found absolutely 0 sign of him anywhere along our search.
This community has been amazing to us. From local pd and animal control spending hours helping me look, several good Samaritans have spent hours of their days out looking with us. He is the sweetest dog ever and we can't wait to bring him back home. Please help us bring Stubbs home.
