Milking the girls 6 @ a time for the first time. Practicing for when we move to the new milk room.
Made a little progress this weekend. The conduit is being mounted to the walls as pre-work we can do before the electrician comes back. Some more trim to go in this room around windows and doors. Ceiling will go in almost last.

Sheβs spoken for. Thanks everyone.
First round does from the first fresheners are spoken for with the exception of this one. I promised I would post when my wait list folks had a chance to make their selections. This is a neat little doe kid out of a first freshening doe. Her maternal grand dam is a 91 EEEE doe and her sire is absolutely no slouch. Sheβs super nice and we expect both the first freshener and this kid will be super nice. Photos of dam and kid details in comments.

Blue cheese made November 23 2019. Probably should have been eaten in March. Very piquant flavor. Paste is still soft and not dried out. I think I like it but I still have about 7# to decide for sure. #bluegoatcheese #hardwickefarms
Love is in the air. #lizardporn
Look at all that color! A buck kid Iβm not a huge spot fan so Iβm awfully happy it wasnβt a doe. I really like the dam and would have had to keep it if it was a doe kid even if it was spotted. She had a belted buck kid too but no photos of him yet.
Everyone is always asking about the bucket washer that I bought. I like it. If I didnβt have a central vacuum system I might not like it as much.
