🐾 Train Your Dog Month! 🐾
Did you know we offered training at IVC?! We do!
This is our resident dog trainer, Isabelle, working on puppy push ups with little Wilson! Puppy push ups are a great exercise to workout your puppy's body and mind!
Training can be beneficial for all dogs in every stage of life.
Whether you're working on behavior modification or just want to teach your dog some tricks, training can help:
🦴 Improve your relationship with your dog
🦴 Reduce anxiety and increase confidence
🦴 Provide mental stimulation
🦴 Reduce unwanted behaviors
🦴 Open up new opportunities for you and your dog!
If you want to stop your dog's naughty behaviors, or if you're interested in simply providing them with more mental stimulation, reach out to our office to set up a consultation with Isabelle! ☮️
Marlin working hard on his core strength!
Marlin is our newest patient from Richmond Animal League. He's the tiniest, cutest little kitten who was found at just 3 weeks old and unfortunately is demonstrating signs of a neurological disorder.
Marlin has already had a few acupuncture sessions and amazes us every single time we see him with how well he's doing.
Earlier this week Marlin had his very first physical therapy session with Gail, one of our LVTs, to focus on strengthening his hind legs and overall mobility. Here you can see this little rockstar balancing like a champ on the physioball, which really helps with core strength and limb control. Gail also went over excersises that can be done at home so his foster mom can work with him every day!
Everyone show Marlin some love!! 🩵 If you haven't done so already, be sure to like and follow our friends at RAL to support all the hard work they do for animals in need 🐾
