Storm's litter is growing more each day. They are 4 weeks old now and we had a little photo shoot. The puppies were definitely not fans of the camera.
This week, we had to make the walls of the whelping box a bit taller. Everyone was climbing out. But, they couldn't get back in. 😂
That caused some anxiety for Storm. The taller walls should help eliminate that worry for a couple days. ;)
They are still eating softened puppy food once a day.
I am sure Storm will begin weaning in the coming week or 2.

We may have just created a pack of foodies. Storm's puppies got their 1st taste of mushed puppy food last night. Everyone went away with a full belly.

Things have been crazy around here, and that's putting it mildly. Timber's puppies decided to crash the party a few days early on Thursday. Storm's puppies, on the other hand, have been living their best lives, being super active and vocal this week. And, because we're all about keeping things tidy, Storm's puppies got dewormed - a biweekly ritual until they're 10-12 weeks old.

p.s. The picture of Timber's newborn puppies looks deceiving. Those babies are so little. 😂
I guess the camera really does add 10 pounds.
Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😂

This puppy is catching some serious Zs after an exhausting day of being adorable.

We almost missed posting these pictures today. Storm's puppies have reached the two-week milestone, their eyes are open, and their legs are strengthening. In the coming week, the puppies will become increasingly vocal and mobile.

Kai sent us a video update.
Started the day with beautiful sunrise, fog lying in the low spots. Great dog work, limit before noon. Then home for a bath and some well deserved R&R in the 70 degree sun!
