Before and after. Lion’s Mane (my favorite mushroom, one I like to say is the broccoli microgreen of mushrooms because of its tremendous health benefits) from . While I generally discourage using as a garnish (they can be a main in your dish, not simply a splash) the herbs are delightfully potent and only require a small amount, going a long way. I added leeks, which are similar to chive in use. Leeks boast a long shelf life, 2-3 weeks. I’ll have a very limited quantity tomorrow at , along with some micro basil. Come early or pre-order via message or phone. I’ll save you a Google: 434-996-1309. Usual suspects (broccoli, radish, sunflower, mustard, wheatgrass/pet grass and arugula will be on deck. Basil, cilantro, and leek (similar to chive) . They take a lot longer to grow, so are only offered when things slow down as it cools and I have the extra space. Quantities will be extremely limited, and preorders are always encouraged. But guess what? We will be expanding capacity again over the winter to make greens available in more places in 2024. Never know, may keep one of these through the year…
Curated single-estate olive oil from means I’m doing something I rarely do- have salad. I use microgreens like any other veggie, but when it’s salad time, I keep it simple- oil and vinegar. I really think you’ll agree if you try that vs store bought salad dressing. As you can see, I made short work of it. My favorite oil: smoked chipotle pepper. Try it, thank me later.

Ok, fair enough, you can’t see my ramen soup for all mustard . Strictly speaking flavor, they are my favorite on offer (broccoli is my nutritional favorite by a country mile). Starting with a little peppery arugula-like flair, it quickly heats up and will remind you of wasabi. A sophisticated palate will detect a hint of sweetness as well, which results from a family of powerful -fighting antioxidants called isothiocyanates, which are also responsible for the heat these spicy greens bring.
YES, they are still corn-based and completely biodegradable. NO, the premium quality of these greens will not slip a nanometer. I want people to make micros a daily part of their life. I rarely buy traditional vegetables anymore, and get all the nutrients I need without mounds of food slowing me down. We already know you are planing to eat better, so help me help you!
