Our amazing volunteer Kasey worked her magic this weekend, setting up the cutest Valentine’s Day photo props—including this adorable kissing booth! Trinket and Holly Berry volunteered as our test models, and we think they absolutely nailed it. What do you think?

We’re so grateful for our incredible volunteers who make moments like this possible. For those waiting to join our next orientation—thank you for your patience! (We’re just as frustrated with the weather as you are.) We promise to have something on the schedule soon!

🌟 Thank You for Your Support 🌟

We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible support we received after yesterday’s post. Your kindness and generosity allow us to keep saving lives and making a difference for these precious pups.

Today, we’re excited to introduce you to one of our special arrivals: Miri (short for Miracle).

This little sweetheart truly lives up to her name. Miri is the sole survivor of her litter, born under heartbreaking circumstances. Her mom, heavily pregnant, was rescued by a good Samaritan and delivered her babies that very night. Tragically, three were stillborn, but Miri proved to be a fighter.

She’s growing into a healthy, happy puppy, and we think she’s a pug mix—though we’re not entirely sure what the “mix” is. What we do know is that she’s absolutely perfect.

Miri is now 8 weeks old and ready for her forever home.

Overwhelmed, But We Just Couldn’t Say No—We Need Your Help!

The past 10 days have brought freezing temperatures and heartbreaking situations, that we just couldn’t turn away.
Here’s what we’ve taken in:
• A sweet dog tied to a fence next to a pile of trash was found yesterday in the rain.
• Three moms with litters of puppies (21 nursing babies total).
• A heartbreakingly emaciated Pomeranian in desperate need of care.
• A cat with a litter of five kittens.
• Several puppies found alone with no one else to save them.

Each of these animals had no hope and nowhere else to go. Now they’re safe, warm, and receiving love—but we urgently need your help.

As a 501(c)(3), we operate solely on donations, and with mounting vet bills, food, and supplies, we are at a critical point.

This sweet and playful 12-week-old, possibly Doberman mix, was rescued by a kind-hearted Good Samaritan during the freezing temperatures. Roxette is everything you could hope for in a puppy and more! She’s intelligent, snuggly, eager to please, and full of playful energy.

Roxette is in desperate need of a foster or foster-to-adopt home where she can continue to grow and thrive. Could you be her hero?

🐾At just 9 days old, this sweet baby is already a fighter. She came to us under heartbreaking circumstances—her mom went septic, and her siblings didn’t survive. Surrendered by her breeder, she’s now in the care of our rescue, where she’s being bottle-fed around the clock.It’s a heavy reminder of how fragile life is, but also how resilient these tiny souls can be with the right love and care. 💕For now, she sleeps soundly, unaware of how many hearts she’s already touched. 🌟 A Christmas rescue story🌟
Juniper’s fight for a better life
Meet Juniper, a sweet, purebred Shih Tzu who spent her life being used as a breeding machine, ignored when she became a “problem.” Having frequent accidents she was locked in a filthy kennel, When we rescued her over Christmas, she was still full of milk from her last litter. She was severely matted, her nails were horribly overgrown, and it was clear she had suffered from years of neglect.

Juniper’s pain wasn’t just emotional—it was physical. She had been trying to p*e constantly with little success, and we quickly learned the reason: three massive bladder stones taking up her entire bladder. She was in desperate need of emergency surgery, which fortunately went well, but the procedure was costly.

Now Juniper is recovering with her loving foster family, but we need your help to cover the medical expenses from her surgery and ongoing care. Every donation makes a difference in giving Juniper the second chance she deserves. 🙏

🐾 Meet Laurel and Hardy! 🐾

These two adorable 5lb boys were rescued after being abandoned by their owners. Although they’ve had a tough start, they’re both sweet souls who just want to love and be loved in return. 💕

Laurel and Hardy are still learning to trust new people and are working hard on building their confidence. They like other dogs and they are not bonded. They’ll need a patient and understanding home that can provide the time, love, and consistency they deserve.

If you’re someone who can give them the gentle guidance they need, these little guys will surely reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and love. 🐶💖
