Just a reminder as we go into the fall 🍂 that all kennel cough vaccines should be up-to-date for all drop-in visits and overnight stays. Interaction with other dogs on walks etc should be limited or restricted to avoid this nasty pneumonia! 🦠

Doctors are still trying to figure out how a severe case of pneumonia is affecting dogs.

Another successful reunion!
🐶🇺🇸🛫🐶🛬🐶👫🇿🇦

Sweet Duke started his journey in Wooster, OH ! We were really lucky to work with a great vet Cleveland Road Animal Hospital & The Pet Hotel, who managed to get all of Duke’s bloodwork and travel papers in good time despite the complicated process for South Africa, only to be almost thwarted by a cargo embargo in Frankfurt!

However, we never give up here , and a resolution was found that involved a snowy 7hr road trip meeting a very dedicated friend halfway, a night in DC and a new journey via Amsterdam instead on and .

We fell in love with Duke very quickly and were sad to see him go. But our hearts were warmed by the photos of him seeing his family again in Johannesburg, South Africa! ✈️❤️

Sweet little Teddy had a long journey, which this time round started in Denver, CO! After a long road trip with his family, he spent a month in the DMV area with his new pal 🐕 🐕. After a few vet visits, where he finally allowed us near enough 💉 🩸 for his tests, and after some touch and go moments, he finally got on his way!

This sweet boy had a long journey to Accra, Ghana 🇬🇭, via Frankfurt 🇩🇪 ✈️ on and then Brussels 🇧🇪 ✈️ on Airlines. I’m sure he is probably VERY happy to be reunited with his family again!

A few pictures from one of our first pet relocations last year, from pick-up to re-unification with their loved ones on another continent! 🌍

These two kitties 🐈🐈 really had the VIP experience, as we fetched them in-person to fly in-cabin with from Phoenix, AZ 🌵 to Washington DC 🏛🇺🇸where they would go on to their final destination of Accra, Ghana 🇬🇭 with Airlines. ✈️

Thank you to all the new views and followers out there!

It's been a while since our last post as we have been busy busy behind the scenes putting in new measures and getting training and approvals in place to expand our offerings on the pet relocation side of things!

We are excited to announce we are now formally registered with the USDA and recently received IATA Live Animal Regulations certification too!

Summary of Changes to dog importation.

It’s good news for new Green Card holders/lawful residents and USG Employees and US Citizens relocating to/back to the US, as they will be eligible for an exemption and should be able to apply for the import permit.
