Meet Alaska! He came to see us for his second PRP injection to help medically manage his shoulder injury. We’ll be seeing him back in another 4 weeks to assess him and adjust his treatment plan moving forward.

What’s our most common surgery? The Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy known as a TPLO which is treatment for cranial cruciate ligament disease. Belle and Buddy both got TPLOs and had their medial patella luxation corrected yesterday. They’re at home with their families and on the road to recovery!

This is Scout and he’s the sweetest boy ever! He had an amputation with hemipelvectomy with us yesterday. He had a great night with our friends at Partner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center and is heading home today comfortable and happy!

How gorgeous is Allbrt?! He’s our very favorite gentle giant and could not be sweeter! We first met him when he needed life saving surgery back in 2021. Today he came to see us for a forelimb lameness and we’re keeping our paws crossed he’s feeling much better soon!

Today we are very excited to announce that we have added a second ACVS Diplomat to our service! Dr. Amy Gifford-Gara DVM. DACVS-SA. Her clinical passions include minimally invasive surgical procedures (laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, arthroscopy), orthopedics and fracture management along with soft tissue and reconstructive surgical procedures. She lectures on topics of multimodal pain-management, orthopedics, and medical management options for osteoarthritis. Dr. Gifford will begin seeing patients out of a second location for us near Williamsburg in the coming weeks! She will begin doing elective outpatient orthopedic and soft tissue surgeries as well as fracture repairs. Please welcome her! e

This sweet girl is Maggie. She came to see us yesterday to have a lung mass removed. She spent the night with our good friends at Partner Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Center and is doing great! She will be going home with her dad this afternoon.
