๐จ PLEASE READ โ We're at 150% Capacity ๐จ
Friends, this is heartbreaking to write, but it needs to be said:
Our shelter is currently 150% over capacity. Every kennel, every office, every nook we can safely use is already filled with animals โ many of whom were abandoned or dumped without warning.
We understand times are hard. We truly do. But dropping animals off at our doors or in our parking lot puts them at serious risk. Itโs not safe, itโs not humane, and it stretches our staff and resources beyond the limit.
Today, a staff member walking a dog that is recuperating from surgery came across a carrier full of cats on our property. Thankfully, the dog wasn't cat reactive, and the staff member was alert and diligent, but this situation could have turned tragic very quickly.
We are doing everything we can โ but we are full. When people ignore this and abandon animals anyway, it puts those already in our care at risk, adds even more stress to staff and animals, and takes away more of our very limited funds.
๐พ If you need help, reach out.
๐พ If you want to support us, consider fostering, adopting, or donating.
๐พ If you care, please donโt dump animals and expect us to magically have space.
Weโre begging for compassion, patience, and community support. These animals deserve better โ and so does the team fighting to help them every single day.
Thank you for understanding.
