JW Equine Services

Thank you JW team for your help today.

All JW horses were worked, washed, fly sprayed, and feet pre treated for abscesses.

All extra water buckets were taken down, washed, dried and stored.

All fly masks were washed and put back on horses.

All pastures and turn outs were inspected for dangerous debris, fences checked, branches and large tree limbs removed.

I have clothing donations from team members as well that will be distributed to those in need.

Items we need for all JW horses and people:
Fly spray
Coat conditioner
Durasole
Toilet paper
Paper towels
Bottled water
Abscess supplies (duct tape, animalintex pads, vet wrap)
Salt bricks

I buy and provide a lot of this stuff daily for you, your family and our horses. I'm asking for donations from my people please.

I'm hopeful we can start back lessons and training Monday September 4th.

Brazos River is said to crest tomorrow morning (Friday) so I may be stuck at home again.
If you are unable to safely get to PGS please text me and let me know.

Made it to PGS today and it is a beautiful site. I almost cried because we are so blessed to have such a safe and peaceful place as our second home.
Leonardo has done a wonderful job keeping our horses happy and healthy.

We had minimal damage and zero flooding at PGS. We are incredibly blessed! Thank you lord for looking over our precious babies.

Tomorrow is supposed to be another beautiful day.

I plan to go to the barn by 9am to:
1. Exercise and groom horses

2. Take down and clean water buckets

3. Look over pastures and paddocks for dangerous debris

If you are available and it is safe to get to PGS I'm asking my people to join me tomorrow morning at 9am to help get things back on track.

Update
PGS is doing well. All horses are good. Leonardo and his family are there and safe.

Unfortunately I can't make it there today or maybe for a few days.
I am in touch with Leonardo a few times a day. If you need anything or info please text me not him. He is very busy.

Pecan Grove Stables in Richmond, TX has a few stalls available for temporary boarding during the upcoming storm.
In the past floods and storms, we have been high and dry.

Stalls are $25 per day.

PGS had a baby last night. Drifter gave birth at around midnight to a VERY leggy little filly!

Just a heads up at PGS. Our horses have dry stalls. Horses are safe.
My route to the barn from my house is dry so I'm at the barn most of the day.
If turn outs are wet Leonardo is leaving horses inside. I am working all our JW horses in the round pen to be sure they get exercise and roll time. Horses on my training list are being worked in the covered arena without any problems. Lessons and Summer Program are all still on.
The mare and gelding big pastures have dry areas so they are being turned out daily.

If you can't get here and want an update every once in awhile please text me individually and I'll be sure to send you updates on your babies. ☺️

If you need any graphics work done, I highly recommend these folks. Did a great job on our vehicles.

Work in progress on the Pecan Grove Stables vehicles and horse trailer. Soon we will be doing more custom decals on the horse trailer and making it a truly one of a kind.

Beyond excited about my Equi-Pulse machine! I would have NEVER believed it if I hadn't suffered from chronic back pain for years. Upon using this gadget, I'm pain free for the first time in years. Cowboy has been dealing with a stiff neck for awhile now. After his first treatment, he can reach around to his tail with ease now.

Wow! Things are going great at PGS! We have a great group of clients and horses and people are begging to put deposits down to be a part of our group. Sorry folks, we are COMPLETELY full and have a few deposits outstanding at this time. Life is good!
