The campground borders Long Lake and offers two playgrounds and a designated swimming area. The large sandy beach has a volleyball court setup, a boat launch, and picnic tables. If you decide to bring your own boat there are dock sites available for an additional charge.

Please notify the office when you register if you are bringing a boat. Dock slips are on a first come-first served basis. Boats & trailers are not allowed at the camp site or the beach but are allowed to stay in our off-site storage area. Bring your own horses for the day and enjoy 25 miles of trails on over 1,200 acres of privately owned wilderness. The trails are well groomed and feature woods, water crossings, hills, and trails for beginner to advanced riders. The first weekend in June is the Kickoff Jam, a bluegrass camping and jamming event, featuring Ranch House Live, a great opportunity to perform in front of your peers. The 2nd weekend in August, we host the entertaining Minnesota Bluegrass and Old-Time Music Festival, sponsored by MBOTMA!! We host weddings and corporate events as well. Hello seasonals. We hope December is treating you well so far. We’re aware that the post office didn’t get the October billing out at all. We also know not everyone got the November bill. We’re sorry for the delay and confusion. We took the interest charges off relative to the electric bill and sent out the December bill. If there are any questions, contact Kevin at (320) 249-1451. Wishes to you and your family for a safe and wonderful Christmas and New Year’s!

Happy Saturday from El Rancho!

11/22/2024

Hello seasonals. We hope you’re enjoying your fall. El Rancho has sent out two mailings of bills, the first just before Indigenous Peoples’ Day (formerly known as Columbus Day). We don’t know what happened with the mail, as it appears no one received the first bills.

Please pay your bill as soon as possible but deduct the interest shown on the second bill. If you’ve already paid your bill prior to seeing this, we’ll credit your account for the interest. Kevin has no intention of charging interest on a bill no one received. If you have questions, call Kevin directly at (320) 249-1451. If you did happen to receive the first bill and you kept the envelope, please send that to us. We’d like to research with the post office what went wrong.
