Sol the poodle needs a foster! She is spayed, recently groomed, and up to date on all vaccines! She is incredibly sweet with people - and would do best in a home with male dogs or no dogs. Can you foster Sol? She’s also adoptable 🩷🐾

It’s National Volunteer Week!!

Did you know our rescue is made up of 100% volunteers? That means every email and social media inquiry answered, every appointment or transport driven, every medical intake done is done in a volunteer’s “spare time”.

We wanted to share some behind the scenes pictures of what our volunteers do on the reg including things like transporting, posting animals to Petfinder, fostering, helping with events, vaccinating, bottle feeding, vet visits, scheduling appointments and inputting medical records!

We want to give a big THANK YOU to all those who volunteered in the past and to those who are currently volunteering! We literally couldn’t operate without you. 💕

Meet Frankie!
Frankie is a sweet, gentle 9-month-old Vizsla mix with a heart full of love and energy to spare.

Frankie is a true Velcro dog — he bonds quickly and wants to be near his people at all times. He’s snuggly, affectionate, goofy, and always keeps us laughing. He’s shy at first but warms up quickly and has no aggression whatsoever.

As a Vizsla, Frankie has very high energy needs. A few walks a day just aren’t enough — he needs daily off-leash running or structured high-activity time to stay happy and calm. He’d thrive with a fenced yard or land in the country and would make an amazing hiking or adventure buddy!

Frankie loves other gentle, friendly dogs and would do best with dog siblings or regular dog park visits. He’s very soft-hearted and doesn’t do well with territorial or alpha-type dogs. While he’s curious about cats, he struggles to read their cues, so a cat-free home or one with a very dog-savvy cat is best.

Frankie is crate-trained at night, potty trained, making great strides in basic obedience training, and is extremely food-motivated. He does show some separation anxiety, so a home where someone is around most of the day (work-from-home or retired) or someone who is willing to work through his separation anxiety!

Frankie is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He’s a special pup who needs experienced, patient owners committed to his ongoing training and care. In return, you’ll get the most loyal, loving companion you could ask for.

Help us save a family! Penny Lane (3YOF bull dog) and her two puppies (Day Tripper and Jude) which are male and female respectively snd 22lbs!! These cuties were all living in a trailer with several other dogs, before being surrendered to shelter. They are all dog friendly, and outgoing.

Another day, another ask to save puppies from being euthanized.

This litter of 6 week old puppies were found without mom, and 8 week old husky mix puppies were as well.

We need fosters for all of them starting tomorrow afternoon in our to save them.

Please send us a note if you can foster — time is of the essence and we can’t let these babies down!
