It’s OK for your dog to eat grass, but make sure the grass has NOT been treated with chemicals like fertilizers, pesticides, etc. Never let them eat grass on municipal fields as these places have usually been treated and never within 50 feet of a roadway (think pollution from exhaust.) Grass is loaded with fiber, vitamins and minerals and can be something that your dog craves instinctually. I let my dog, Lola, eat grass whenever she wants as long as we are in a location that meets the above parameters. *If your dog eats grass in excessive amounts, it may be indicative of an underlying issue that may include dietary deficiencies, gastrointestinal issues or parasites
