We have a big order coming in tomorrow; Wednesday!* We're closed every Wednesday so that we can pick up and acclimate everything at the store, but we'll re-open at noon on Thursday.

Here's a gallery of everything we have coming in. If you're interested in having first dibs on any of them, please comment on the photo (and tag our page, if you're able) and we'll hold it until Friday for you on a first-com, first-serve basis. Hold requests made after Wednesday for this shipment cannot be guaranteed.

Our next HUGE coral shipment should be here either the last week of this month or the first week of next.

Name, scientific names, care level and price are all included if you click on the photos. Feel free to ask any questions that you may have.

As always, we have a full wall of other staple livestock (such as Pajama Cardinals, False Percula Clowns, tubeworms, scallops, etc.) and cleanup crew available at all times.

Hey everyone. It looks like we're going to have another snow day today. We may open later in the day if our roads get treated where we live, but they haven't as of yet and are slick. We'll post if we open up.

We have a fish and invert order coming in on Wednesday. We'll post about what we're getting later today so you can reserve something if you want.

Half Day Today

Due to our roads not being treated, we're going to open around 4pm today instead of our normal noon. This should give it time to melt on its own if they don't show up.

Driving home last night was an experience and one we don't want to recreate. I think I aged myself a decade during the 15 mile drive home. 🤣

It looks like we're going to have a snow day today. We will reopen as soon as we can safely make it to the store. Given the anticipated ice, it may be a couple of days.

We fed the critters extra late last night before leaving in case we were unable to make it this morning, so they should be fine for a couple of days.

Thank you to everyone who made our first day back one of the best! Y'all are awesome and we appreciate you so much.

Tomorrow, Sunday, is going to be a mess with the weather. Because we live in the middle of nowhere, and since the ice and snow is going to start around 11:00 a.m., if you're coming into the store check Facebook before doing so. We may have to close early or not open at all based on how bad it is.

Our goal is to try to be open for at least an hour or two starting at noon for those needing food or cuddly sea urchin to snuggle up to during the storm, but we'll post if anything changes.

This will be a long post. Please read it all. :)

Hey all. We have an amazing customer base and want to thank everyone who has reached out and offered to help reopen the store. It truly means the world to us. 🫶

We have had two customers, both of which are fish shop owners themselves here in Kentucky, to buy out nearly our entire stock of coral (where we actually make our money) so that we can focus on reopening and getting the rest of the store built out (such as with the fish wall). To say this community is absolutely, insanely crazy and amazing would be an understatement, but here we are and we're so thankful. They have both requested to remain anonymous (nobody gives their sources out 😅), but they've both become an ongoing wholesale customer of our coral farm because of this. If y'all are reading this — THANK YOU!

With that being said, we've decided to focus on doing just that and finishing up the shop for the remainder of the year. This will mean that we're closed until January 4th to focus on not only the holidays with family, but also bringing Richmond more of what y'all have been requesting; more affordable coral and fish/invert options.

For those who have custom tanks being built by us, or outstanding livestock orders, we'll be in touch to schedule a time to pickup and pay for everything. If you need RODI or premixed saltwater until we reopen, just reach out and we'll work with y'all to get it to you. If you have a specific item needing ordered, we're happy to help facilitate that. We have plenty of frozen food that has arrived if you need some of that. Unfortunately, this doesn't apply to livestock because all of the distributors that we work with are closed for the remainder of the year or aren't shipping due to the unreliability of standard shipping methods around the holidays. If you've won something during our 26 Days of Giveaways, reach out and schedule a time to either deliver your winnings or come by to pick them up! Finally, we're still available for support via text as always. We may be a little slower at responding, but we'll still be there for your support needs

We'll reopen to our normally scheduled hours with new livestock and corals on Saturday January 4th. We will not have much coral available until the following week except from our farm (mostly softies and some LPS), but we will have fish and inverts available for everyone to purchase.

We will also finish up with the remaining 4 days of giveaways with any livestock winners to have their items fulfilled the first full week that we're reopened. Continue sharing and commenting on our posts for free additional entries for the remaining drawings.

We know this is an inconvenience, especially around the holidays. We want to be 110% available for you all however, and we're not able to do that unless the shop is fully completed and stocked.

Thank you for the last six months of amazing customer loyalty and we look forward to being your COMPLETED one-stop-shop for many years to come!
