We will be CLOSED today. Two of our sister clinics, Winterfield Veterinary Hospital & John Rolfe Animal Hospital will be OPEN with limited staff from 10:00 am-3:00pm. We will evaluate that as the day goes on. Please follow our page for updates for today and tomorrow.

This week our staff received training on dental radiography, so we can add this service to our routine dentals. Full mouth radiographs are an integral part of your pets overall oral care and allow our doctors and staff to provide the best treatment possible.

Female patients can develop mammary tumors as well especially if they are un-altered or altered later in life. If you find a bump schedule a checkup with one of our veterinarians.

Welcome Dr. Lees!
If you have not had the chance to meet our new associate in person we hope you do soon!

Dr. Stephanie Lees is a local to Richmond. She attended Virginia Tech, where she received her undergraduate degree in Biochemistry. Upon graduation she stayed in Blacksburg for another four years to attend the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lees always seemed to connect with the animals around her quickly and always strived to be involved in their care at a young age, which encouraged her aspirations to become a veterinarian. After graduation she moved back to Richmond and spent a year in emergency medicine. Dr. Lees is excited for the move to primary care as she is passionate about client relationships and educating pet owners. Her medical interests include soft tissue surgery, reproductive emergencies, as well as endocrine and metabolic disorders such as Diabetes, Addison’s disease, and chronic kidney disease. Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Lees enjoys spending time with her family and four dogs, traveling, working out, and plants.
