Meet Cleo, the cutest English Bulldog puppy who’s finally ready for her forever family!

Meet Cleo, a sweet and playful 9-month-old English Bulldog puppy looking for her forever home! Cleo is a roly-poly, wild woman, but she promises to make up for her silly antics cute puppy eyes. Cleo was diagnosed with luxating patellas, a condition that causes her kneecaps to slip in and out of place, but this little girl is still full of energy and love. Despite her condition, Cleo doesn’t let it slow her down! She’s a brave, resilient pup who loves to play, snuggle, and give kisses to everyone she meets. She’ll need a family that understands her orthopedic condition and can offer her a comfortable, loving environment where she can thrive. Cleo will need to be kept at a healthy weight, given joint supplements to stave off arthritis as she ages, and possibly pain medication on her “bad days”. Cleo gets along well with other dogs, as long as they can tolerate a boisterous bulldog puppy. She is good with children, and is nearly house trained. Cleo is ready to bring her joyful spirit into a home where she’ll be cherished for the rest of her life! Could that be with you?
Cleo has been spayed, vaccinated, and microchip. She will come with six months of heartworm prevention, and 30 days of pet insurance.

Collin spent his first birthday in the hospital recovering from surgery, but the staff made sure to make him feel special. PLUS he got the all clear to be discharged tomorrow - he will continue to recover from the comfort of a foster home.

In true Iggy fashion he’s a little nervous at first with strangers, so small/loud kids would likely be overwhelming. He is good with calm dogs and cats.

Hampton Roads foster needed for Pickles 🥒 A young, boisterous, intact male frenchie. He is good with other dogs and would love to have a rough and tumble playmate. He is definitely more “go” than “woah”, and is looking for a foster family who will keep his body and mind busy until his forever family comes along.

He has a neuter appointment next Monday, then he’ll be cleared for adoption!

Hampton Roads foster needed for “Honcho” an 11m old Frenchie/Boston mix who is finishing out his last few weeks of exercise restriction. You see, Honcho was hit by a car and suffered awful wounds to his front legs, and a broken/displaced vertebrae. Thanks to his first foster mom who did daily bandage changes, his legs have healed up nicely. He has been evaluated by our Neuro friends who feel he has made a great recovery so far, but should have another few weeks of rest before he is cleared for normal activity. Honcho is good with other dogs and LOVES children - however both get him really excited. All he needs is a spare room with some comfy beds to lounge on, and he’s good as gold.

A shelter is no place for an under vaccinated puppy to be - we are grateful for the forward-thinking staff who reached out to us, and for the foster families who were there to pick them up within the hour 💜

What’s more fitting on Mother’s Day than needing to find foster for the cutest chihuahua momma and her 6 little puppies? Puppies are about 4 weeks old, and need a few more weeks with mom before they can be split up into smaller groups in preparation for spay/neuter appointments. If you love you some puppies - send us a message!

Just a little bobble head-baby-bully update! 2 injectable medications daily, some good supportive care, and tasty food…..look at them now! We thought the severely affected hydro male (white/gray) wasn’t going to survive the night when he arrived……he had other plans, and now he’s the sassier of the pair. Please excuse Rescue Moms “puppy voice” and their mind numbing enrichment music - we promise to get better at photographing them. For now, enjoy this adorable video!
