Joining us a bit over 3 years ago, Nell, or some of you may know her as Danyelle, “wears many hats” here at W & W. This saying is an actual understatement when it comes to her though. She is continuously helping to ensure our patients receive the best care. We are thankful that Nell was not able to be a firetruck, as she initially wanted to be in kindergarten. Nell, thanks for all you do for each of us!

Savannah is another one of our amazing vet techs. She brought with her a considerable amount of knowledge after working with animals in a variety of settings. She worked at the Cincinnati Zoo, several wildlife rehab centers, and other vet clinics before joining W & W about 5 months ago. Check out Mr. Leroy Brown, her 10 year old Cinnamon Rabbit. He's a sweetie!

Meet Gracie! Gracie has been with us here at W & W for 7 months. She has wanted to work with animals for as long as she remembers. When she's not helping to care for your pets, she enjoys time with Holly, her 20 year old horse. Holly is spoiled with lots of snacks and love, even when she's a bit on the wild side.

October is National Pet Wellness Month. Veterinarians recommend regular wellness exams for the same reason your physician and dentist recommend them – if you can detect a problem in its early stages, it's more likely to be treated and resolved with less expense, less difficulty, and better success. This holds true for small and large animals.

As the saying goes, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
