Animal Care Alliance ACA is a low cost veterinary clinic serving Richmond, Indiana and the surrounding area.

The Animal Care Alliance is a not-for-profit veterinary clinic working with the public and rescue groups to provide low-cost veterinary care for companion animals. Vaccinations, flea and heartworm preventatives, exams, spaying and neutering, and other surgeries are available from our team of seasoned veterinarians and professional staff.

Maple gets a double amount of recognition because she technically is the longest resident. She has been in and out thru the years thru no fault of her own as she is wonderful and a clinic favorite!
Diana chose Maple because she has been with this sweet girl thru everything and is working hard to find her the dream home she deserves!
Diana is our Adoption & Volunteer Coordinators.
She also is the driving force behind our FB page. She worked so hard yesterday putting on all the animals & her Amazing CoWorkers for Valentines she forgot herself. Diana is often found behind the front desk with a million irons in the fire. She works with rescues in both IN & OH to help them with Spay & Neuter. She's also always hauling cats to area events & if you see something for sale on FB or in the clinic, we can promise you she's behind it!
Maple is an amazing girl who has lived with kids, cats & dogs but would be happy in any loving environment! She has paid her dues and is so deserving of a family of her own!
Maple's adoption fee is $75 with an approved adoption application.

MYSTERY BOX AUCTION!!
We have 1 BIG BOX ( 2 sneak peek views pictured )
Several of our Staff went on an Animal Food & Supply Pick up and they had Mystery Boxes for sale from Amazon which they purchased on their own. They combined all the leftovers to make 1 Big box and donated it for us to sell. There is some really cool stuff in here and some worth a pretty penny. (there may even be a giant inflatable turkey!!!) We have resealed the box up so it will stay as full as it is!
All funds raised from the sale of this mystery box will go to buy the special foods some of our cats need and the never ending need of cat & dog toys!
We are starting the bidding at $20 and you must bid in at least $1 increments. Just comment your amount higher than the last person.
Auction will end Tuesday February 18th at 11 am.
Please Share and Remember to Bid High as it ALL goes to help our animals that reside here at the clinic waiting for homes!

Kay chose Benny Banana & OJ for her kitties she wants to find their Forever Valentine. (She has an extra special spot in her heart for Benny Banana but she loves OJ too) These boys are a bonded pair like nothing you have seen before.
Every one knows Kay! She is a Powerhouse in our TNR Community and works with so many rescues in Indiana & Ohio to help move animals around to help them find good homes faster. She is often found working our front desk but always has a million other things going on while doing so!
Benny & OJ came to us as kittens and they have always been inseparable! Its quite unique and awesome to see. They are still babies but only love each other more!

Amanda chose our Mother Daughter Duo Alice & Droopy to help find there Furry Valentines! These girls can be adopted singly or they would make a great pair together.
Amanda is our Amazing Animal Care Leader. She loves animals so deeply and is always going out of her way to make life better for our animals here in the clinic. She also takes great photos for our petfinder throughout her workday. There isnt a thing she wont do for an animal or even a human!
These girls were actually rescued by Amanda last summer. They currently live in our lobby and are absolutely the sweetest and gentlest Ever! Sarah chose our Silly Pepper, our lobby kitty who runs crazy thru the place in his own personal hamster wheel, to help find his Forever Valentine.
Sarah works next door at our farm with Joyce helping with all the wildlife...this job involves alot of outside work 365 days a year. Tho she does help with the cats, dogs, chickens, pig and anything else that is over there. We love her for she is very entertaining to work with and there is never a dull moment!
Many of you know Pepper as he is a lobby favorite and can often be found strolling thru the lobby during open hours. He is a HUGE people lover but not so much of other critters.

Lorene chose our Big Hunk Handsome to help him find his forever Valentine...Tho we must admit.....she is very much in love with him and takes him on adventures all the time and its a BIG possibility he may have already found his Forever Valentine. 😍
Lorene is another amazing person on our Animal Care Staff. She works just 2 nights a week but is very active in fostering and helping both the dogs and cats however is needed!
Handsome has been through alot in his year here with us but he is such a good dog.

Lexus chose our Handsome & Sweet Buster to help find his Forever Valentine Home!
Lex is another of our Amazing Animal Care Staff. She is so gentle and loving to all of our animals and we are so thankful for that. She also takes alot of our Petfinder pictures as she goes about her days.
Buster came to us thru no fault of his own recently. He is a lynx point siamese. He is as gentle and easy going of a cat you will ever meet. He would fit great in any loving home.

Kodee from Petland stopped by this week and wanted to help a cat find their Forever Valentine! Kody chose our big mushy handsome fella Guinness! We love this gentle easy going fella!
We work closely with Petland to help them with their animals and Kodee and her coworkers are all so easy to work with. We are happy to partner with them as they all are animal lovers!
Guinness came to us in a rescue trade. He is an FIV+ cat but he is so gentle and lives peacefully in our community cat room.

Veronica has chosen our Sweet Sweet Hemmingway to help find his Forever Valentine. Hemmingway has a bit of a banged up face as he has a wonky eye & doesnt like to show it. But we know how handsome he is and we are trying our best to remind him of it
Most everyone knows Veronica as she has been with ACA almost from the start. She is our Pharmacist but she is often found working the front desk also. She is another who does about anything we need doing here at the clinic!
Hemmingway came to us in a big TNR event and we knew he couldnt go back to the streets for he was soooo soooo loving!

Our young Volunteer Lilly Chose Sweet Energetic Mulberry to help find her Forever Valentine!
Lilly is Paytens bestie and has joined her in volunteering the past several years. They both sure love their animals and you name it they do it around here!
Mulberry is just over a year old and she absolutely loves to play and cuddle when she is tired. She is a dog always wanting to please!!

Miss Nixie is doing well in foster care and wanted to remind everyone to continue to share our fundraiser and donate if you can. Some of Pepper's adventures yesterday! He loves his "hamster wheel" lol Pepper loves humans and adventures but other cats not so much! This gets him exercise and socialization! He is a favorite at the clinic so help us find him the home he deserves! 😻

Just a story that made me smile! This week, I had a company come to my house to install better WiFi. I met a tall, dark skinned gentleman at home. He could hear dogs in the yard and kept asking, “no dogs inside?”. I did my best to assure the obviously uncomfortable man that my dogs were sweet and that he had nothing to be afraid of! Honestly, the whole situation made me nervous too. The man spoke with, what I thought was an African accent! I had difficulty understanding him. After about an hour and a half, I felt comfortable enough to ask him where he was from. He replied, “ “Nigeria” and that he’d been here for 8 years. Still trying to connect with this guy, I asked him to come to the fence and look at Zoya, our 85 pound Sulcata Tortoise, who is of African descent. He got a great big smile on his face as he was familiar with this species from his homeland. 💜 I showed him a couple of our educational animal ambassadors and after that, it was obvious that he cared about animals! Isn’t it wonderful that the love of animals can transcend language/cultural barriers! 💙
