ACA is a low cost veterinary clinic serving Richmond, Indiana and the surrounding area.

The Animal Care Alliance is a not-for-profit veterinary clinic working with the public and rescue groups to provide low-cost veterinary care for companion animals. Vaccinations, flea and heartworm preventatives, exams, spaying and neutering, and other surgeries are available from our team of seasoned veterinarians and professional staff.

Sunday is a Fun Day when it comes to Adoptions!
Congratulations go out this afternoon to our Adorable Fun Loving Sunkist in joining his forever family!
Thank you Garton & Angel for choosing adoption! Sunkist is a smooth fella and quite the chatterbox! We sent him home with toys and snacks and his new family has even more to entertain this cool cat! Orange cats are as loving as they are entertaining!
Enjoy your new lives together! Have Fun Sunkist, we know you are going to be spoiled and love every minute of it!

This beautiful box is filled with amazing home made ornaments made by 4 animal loving supporters of Animal Care Alliance!
They will be going on our new pencil tree on Wednesday. Everything is one of a kind and all proceeds will help animals here at our clinic!

Its Much Needed Monday and Marty McFly has a BIG Request~
WE NEED CAT TOWERS!
We have had so much illness & of varied kinds we made the decision yesterday to toss all of our Cat Towers. Even tho they are cleaned regularly germs still hang out with all that material!
Marty & his friends have made an Amazon List of wooden ones that can be cleaned easier and with velcro pads that can be washed just as easy. They said they dont want to be left feeling naked again!
We did include some small ones made of all fabric so we can get them some things to climb on & hide in as quick as we can get some!
Our Cats would absolutely LOVE your Donation of these items!
You can shop Local and Drop off any Donated items during our open hours. Or you can shop our attached Amazon List and Donate that way also! We will also attach a link where you can donate and we can shop for you!
We would appreciate your help very much but more especially our cats & kittens will send a HUGE MEOW OF THANKS!

Who wants a bonded young pair of fun loving boys? These 2 Brothers from other Mothers think they are blood brothers!
Twister, the black kitty, is a CH Kitty (Cerebellar Hypoplasia which is a wobble disorder they are born with). He has a very mild form and only falls over when running to fast! He met his buddy Merlin here at the clinic and they became even more super bonded when they hit foster care. While they enjoy and play with the other cats in the home they are more than often found together!
Check out their Petfinder Bio and Please Share! These boys are so much fun and deserve a loving home of their own to grow up in!
Their adoption fee is $100 for the pair of them with an approved adoption application!

Just a story that made me smile! This week, I had a company come to my house to install better WiFi. I met a tall, dark skinned gentleman at home. He could hear dogs in the yard and kept asking, “no dogs inside?”. I did my best to assure the obviously uncomfortable man that my dogs were sweet and that he had nothing to be afraid of! Honestly, the whole situation made me nervous too. The man spoke with, what I thought was an African accent! I had difficulty understanding him. After about an hour and a half, I felt comfortable enough to ask him where he was from. He replied, “ “Nigeria” and that he’d been here for 8 years. Still trying to connect with this guy, I asked him to come to the fence and look at Zoya, our 85 pound Sulcata Tortoise, who is of African descent. He got a great big smile on his face as he was familiar with this species from his homeland. 💜 I showed him a couple of our educational animal ambassadors and after that, it was obvious that he cared about animals! Isn’t it wonderful that the love of animals can transcend language/cultural barriers! 💙
