Hurricane Harvey has been so devastating. There are a lot of animals who are in need of help, and I'm so thankful for the people risking their lives to save them. Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by this storm, both human and otherwise. 🙏🏻

UPDATED: Shadow has a new home!
A picture just wasn't enough to show you all what a sweet girl Shadow is! Someone needs to give this angel a loving home! She was part of a colony, and one of our clients noticed her limping and brought her in. We don't really know what happened, but from what we can tell she got her tangled in something and it cut off circulation to most of her leg. She ended up having to have her right rear leg amputated. So, now Shadow needs to be an indoor kitty! From how she has behaved in the clinic we feel she would adjust very nicely to life indoors, and though she was with a colony of cats, she's far from being feral. Just watch the video, she wants to be loved! She's been spayed, had her rabies vaccine, and was tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV. Basically, she is ADORABLE, and SWEET, and LOVABLE, and HEALTHY, and she'll be a wonderful addition to your house! Just come and meet her, you will end up taking her with you!
It's Veterinary Technician Appreciation Week, and there's no better time to point out what a very special kind of person it takes to be a veterinary technician. For them, it's more than just a job. They are there for the best of times, and the worst of times, a compassionate friend to animals from the beginning of life to the end. We don't know where we'd be without you. Thank you so much for all you do!
My son has had this bear since he was born, and when he got torn from all his rough and tumble play, well, I knew just where to take him. The end is the best part! Thank you Dr. Lipstock, Sarah, and Katarina, and to all my coworkers who do such great work! They also gave him a bath, and brushed out his coat. He "looks" brand new!
