Along with our sister rescues, we are trying to take in 9 chihuahuas as part of a seizure case. I’ll be candid - it’s not good. We have 7 left that need foster commitment so we can get them on the road to happily ever after.

We provide all supplies, medical and resources. You provide love and a safe home through adoption.

Ok, village!

You showed up BIG earlier today in response to our foster call. But now I want to ask for help on behalf of our sister rescue, Beagles and Bentleys and their sweet baby boy Bowser.

It’s rare to find rescues that say, give me the hard cases. Give me the ones who need immediate medical help. But this team shows up for it EVERY TIME.

If you can donate a few dollars to cover the vet bill, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can’t donate, sharing is so helpful!

Holly and her sister Ivy came into rescue at about a week old when their mama died and they were surrendered to a rural shelter. Although she had a tough start, she is thriving in her foster home!

Holly is absolutely adorable of course, but she also has the funniest personality. She is always looking for something to get into - a new toy to hide- a new gift under the tree to unwrap. She is sassy and feisty and we love her for it!

Holly isn’t old enough for her happily ever after quite yet, but she’ll be on the search in a couple of weeks!

Month 11 ⭐️ Today I am grateful. Grateful for our fosters, volunteers, rescue partners, supporters, and cheerleaders. Grateful for the resident dogs who tolerate their families saying “yes,” to just one more puppy… to the spouses and families we drive mad with our crazy doggy antics. More than anything I am grateful for another successful month. Heres to 163 adoptions in 11 months. 🐾💗🐾💙

We don’t have an open foster at the moment, but we couldn’t say no. Look at this face. 😩 Our rescue partner in SWVA got him out before his 2:00 deadline - and we have transport bringing him to Richmond tomorrow. If you can foster this sweet boy, please send us a message!

We all know that animal welfare is in a state of emergency. But thanks to our amazing foster families, transport volunteers and rescue partners, these six pups are joining the Mae’s Mutts family tomorrow. 🌟 Month 10 🌟 This past month has certainly been filled with some (behind the scenes) challenges, but also some AMAZING lifesaving rescues. These are the faces who found their happily ever afters this past month. 10 months. 143 forever adoptions. We think we’ll go take a nap…. Hope to see you all at the Pawliday event on Saturday! 💗💙💗
