Lots of cool stuff happening as we continue to grow! Here’s a sneak peek at our custom frag racks where we’ll be growing all sorts of cool corals to sell. Shout out to for making these! These racks will be able to hold over 800 frags in our custom frag tanks — coming soon! 🪸🐠🎉

Kole’s personal tank is a stock 300-gallon tank from Glasscages. Powered by Ecotech Marine and Radion products, there is a custom 7ft Geo’s Reef sump that makes the total system volume 420 gallons. Kole Tang Aquatics built the stand & cabinetry. Home to “Groot” the Panther Grouper”, “Joe” the Picasso Triggerfish, and “Todd” the Golden Heart Triggerfish. Other fish include a Pintail Triggerfish, Clown Triggerfish, Linespot Triggerfish, Gem Tang, Naso Tang, Clown Tang, Unicorn Tang, Clarkii Clownfish, 2 Golden Trevallys, an Australian Stripey, a Harlequin Tusk, a Radiata Lionfish, 3 Cleaner Wrasse, a Banded Cat Shark, a Coral Cat Shark, a Snowflake Eel, Golden Banana Eel, and Blue Ribbon Eel. 🐠

This mesmerizing adult, Blue Ribbon Eel has an electric blue color while juvenile Blue Ribbon Eels are predominantly jet black. The Blue Ribbon Eel is found in the Indo-Pacific region and their lifespan can range between 10 to 20 years in captivity. Blue Ribbon Eels can grow up to 39 inches long! A tank with a capacity of at least 120 gallons is recommended to provide ample space for swimming and burrowing. They prefer areas with sandy substrates, crevices, and burrows where they can hide; and their burrowing behavior and peaceful disposition make them compatible with various coral and invertebrate species. This 350 GALLON SALTWATER TANK is thriving! We upgraded the lights and adjusted the flow so the are growing like crazy which makes the very happy. Meet Groot the Grouper. Groot is one of our personal pets who’s also featured in our branding. Groot is a Panther Grouper that will eat anything that fits in his mouth. He’s a fast growing fish who’s surprisingly passive and will ignore his tankmates unless they’re small enough to swallow whole. Groot was about 1 inch long when Kole first got him, and he’s approximately 17 inches long today! Groot has his own Instagram account if you want to follow him.

This aquatic command center deserved a room of its own! When our client, David Winn, asked us to plumb together his new aquarium, he was so thrilled with our skills that he wanted us to turn the entire space into a room dedicated to his 150-gallon saltwater tank. 🐠🪸

Kole Tang Aquatics is named after its owner, Kole Elkin, and our mascot, the Yellow Eye Kole Tang. The Kole Tang has an oval-shaped body with bold markings that change as it matures. When it’s young, it has a yellow-gold or tannish-orange body with stripes and spots. As it gets older, the body color darkens — giving it a sophisticated darker brown color with blue to purple and burgundy hues. Kole Tang Aquatics is a young company that just started in March 2024 but has a decade of experience working in the aquatic pet store industry. We are not a physical store, but we can provide all your aquatic needs.
