Kole’s personal tank is a stock 300-gallon tank from Glasscages. Powered by Ecotech Marine and Radion products, there is a custom 7ft Geo’s Reef sump that makes the total system volume 420 gallons. Kole Tang Aquatics built the stand & cabinetry. Home to “Groot” the Panther Grouper”, “Joe” the Picasso Triggerfish, and “Todd” the Golden Heart Triggerfish. This mesmerizing adult, Blue Ribbon Eel has an electric blue color while juvenile Blue Ribbon Eels are predominantly jet black. The Blue Ribbon Eel is found in the Indo-Pacific region and their lifespan can range between 10 to 20 years in captivity. Blue Ribbon Eels can grow up to 39 inches long! A tank with a capacity of at least 120 gallons is recommended to provide ample space for swimming and burrowing. They prefer areas with sandy substrates, crevices, and burrows where they can hide; and their burrowing behavior and peaceful disposition make them compatible with various coral and invertebrate species. If your tank size permits, compatible tank mates can include Hawkfish, Large Angelfish, Triggerfish, Tangs, and Lionfish. This 350 GALLON SALTWATER TANK is thriving! We upgraded the lights and adjusted the flow so the #anenomes are growing like crazy which makes the #CLOWNFISH very happy. Meet Groot the Grouper. Groot is one of our personal pets who’s also featured in our branding. Groot is a Panther Grouper that will eat anything that fits in his mouth. He’s a fast growing fish who’s surprisingly passive and will ignore his tankmates unless they’re small enough to swallow whole. Groot was about 1 inch long when Kole first got him, and he’s approximately 17 inches long today! Groot has his own Instagram account if you want to follow him.
