🚐✨ On the Road to New Beginnings! ✨🚐

Last night, RAL teamed up with Best Friends Animal Society to welcome a group of dogs who’ve been through quite the journey. These pups traveled all the way from Florida, where the recent hurricanes have impacted local shelters. After a long trip, nine sweet dogs settled into RAL's kennels for some well-deserved rest while their transporters caught a few z’s. 🌙💤

Early this morning, the journey continued! Six of these resilient travelers headed off with Best Friends to a shelter in Syracuse, NY, where they’ll be waiting to find loving homes. Please join us in sending all the safe travel vibes their way!

And for those staying with us — Daytona, Tallahassee, and Everglades — they’ll soon be ready to meet potential adopters! These three are getting intake exams and any extra vet care they need, and before long, they’ll be looking for new families to call their own. 💕🐾

Stay tuned to meet them as they settle in!

Foster Friday Feature: Billie Jean Beanbottoms 🌱😺

Looking for a kitty with a big heart and even bigger personality? Meet Billie Jean Beanbottoms! She's a petite, cautiously curious gal who blossoms into the funniest, most lovable goofball once she settles in. 🍫✨

Billie Jean's been shining bright in her foster home. She's a lover of all things playtime—scratching posts with dangling toys? Yes, please! She also loves a good snack (a true foodie) and has recently discovered the joy of curling up for a cozy couch snuggle during Olympic marathons.

Billie Jean blends in beautifully with most of the other cats in her foster home (though she's been picking on one of the older cats lately) and has even made friends with the human kids—always gentle and ready for play. She likes when people ask before petting, and she's pretty good at letting you know when she's had enough (with a tiny love nibble to remind you). 😍

She's 10/10 a good girl and is ready to find her adoptive home! Think Billie Jean might be your purrfect match? 😻

Bubba is all about the good things in life: walks, car rides, belly rubs, and playing fetch until he's all tuckered out. He's a social butterfly and LOVES wrestling with his doggy friends 🐶, splashing around in the pool, and being the center of attention. His foster mom made sure he's living his best life with his very own baby pool at home, where Bubba bounces and splashes his heart out.
