Every year, approximately 6.3 million pets enter U.S. shelters, and many are the result of unplanned litters.

Spaying and neutering can help lower the number of unwanted pets that lead to overcrowded shelters, hurting the chances of available pets finding a loving home.

If you need to schedule your pets spay or neuter procedure, please call us today.

💌 Meet Goji 💌

We just had to use her photo for Valentine's day as it appears she is waving and kissing at the camera 😘

Goji recently had a medical visit with Countryside Veterinary Clinic after the owner noted some concerns she was having at home with pain. We ended up referring her to one of our local neurology specialists in the area.

We hope you feel better soon sweet girl!

💖 This Valentine’s Day, show your pet some extra love while keeping them safe – and help keep other pets safe by sharing this post!

Here are a few Valentine’s pet safety tips to keep in mind:

-Keep chocolate, candy, and treats with xylitol far out of reach—they’re toxic to pets!
-Watch out for flowers like lilies, which are especially dangerous for cats.
-Be mindful of lit candles and decorations that curious paws might knock over.
-Secure ribbons, strings, and wrappers to avoid accidental ingestion.

Wishing you and your pets a safe and sweet Valentine’s Day!

🦷 🦷Stinky breath, trouble eating, red swollen gums, tartar/plaque buildup, loose teeth, sensitive around mouth? 🦷 🦷
Now is the time to have one of doctor's examine your pet's mouth to see if a dental cleaning is needed.
Just like humans (except most dogs and cats are not brushing their teeth everyday) having dental cleanings performed yearly is recommended in healthy pets to continue to keep them healthy!
February is dental month and we are offering promos for dentals scheduled in February to help offset some of the cost associated with dentals.

We often talk about how plaque buildup can lead to periodontal disease, causing pain and infection. Infection can go beyond the mouth and cause heart and kidney disease.

Regular dental cleanings are essential for preventing these issues and ensuring your furry friend stays happy and healthy.

We got the pleasure of meeting this lovely girl after her owner's brought her in for her first checkup! Dr. Dyer performed her physical exam and updated her vaccines. She didn't even flinch for the vaccines, as she was being distracted by yummy treats!
I would say by this picture, she loved all the attention she was getting from the team at Countryside Veterinary Clinic. 🥰
