Wednesday through Friday from 12PM - 6PM, Saturday from 12PM - 5PM, and Sunday from 12PM - 4PM.

Please help us by sharing this post in hopes we can reunite these lost pets! All of these dogs are currently on stray hold here at RACC. If you recognize or are missing your dog PLEASE come to RACC to reclaim or look for your pet. Our stray kennels are full and we need owners to step forward! RACC is located at 1600 Chamberlayne Avenue. (These dogs are not available for adoption)

Who needs a hairless cat when you can have a “kind of paralyzed” dog?!? Meet Wisteria! She is a 5yr old long hair doxy mix who is partially paralyzed (weve done all the diagnostics) but that doesn’t stop her! She is able to scoot around and uses the bathroom like a normal dog. She is not in any pain. 🙏

Wisteria loves spending quality time with her people, gets along with calm dogs and cats. She would do best in a home with children over the age of 10years plus and enjoys long car rides with the windows down, meal time, and supervised sunbathing (so she doesn’t over heat). If you are game to love this little special needs pup forever, email [email protected] with your home info/experience with special needs pups (or willingness to provide care) to set an appointment to meet her. ♥️

WE HAVE A SPHYNX KITTEN! 🐈‍⬛ ♥️🐾♥️
The story goes like this—4 baby sphynx kittens were left in a carrier on a citizen’s front porch; they thought the tiny hairless creatures were baby possums or squirrels (fair assumption)—imagine our Officers surprise when she picked them up! 🥳 Sadly, 3 of the 4 bottle babies couldn’t be saved but THIS ONE MADE IT! Meet Rosie—she’s 9 weeks old, looks like a little grumpy old man at all times and is a little sweet sassy cake who needs a home today. Now—please keep reading and following directions. If you’ve started driving or running to RACC, STOP. Email [email protected] with your info (other pets/kids/restrictions if you rent); provide any/all previous breed experience and a vet reference to SET AN APPOINTMENT to meet her today. Adoption fee is $100 and includes spay, all age appropriate vaccines, FIV test, microchip and a starter bag of food (plus her sweaters). ♥️🐾♥️ Go SPHYNX people —GO!

Happy Saturday from Bella Boo!! This girl has proven to be perfect in her foster home. She is already housetrained and crate trained. ♥️ Bella is well mannered and good on leash. Loves belly rubs and will beg for attention. Safe to say she’s a stage 5 clinger. The foster says she is well mannered at home and respectful of human things versus her things. Bonus she has a chill energy level. What’s not to love about this gal!? At almost 8yrs old, she prefers all the love to herself so would like to go to a home without other dogs.
