Due to forecasted inclement weather, we will be closing at 2:00pm today. We will remain closed until Monday January 13th at 8:00am.
Please pick up any life saving medications you may run out of, by 2:00pm today.

Please do not use our texting line for emergencies, we do not monitor it when the office is closed.

When an Indiana couple stopped at the Casey’s-Jimmy John’s by the Richmond Center on Saturday January 4th, their chihuahua/pug mix Jinx got off her leash and escaped.

Happy holidays from all of us at BMAH!

We will be closed December 24th and 25th.

Dr Taylor will be spending the holidays with his mother, his lovely wife Amelia, and their daughter, Kala.

Hello everybody! We would like to take the time to say how thankful we are for all of our wonderful clients! For all the support, patience, and understanding you have given us this year, along with past years! Each and every day we find our hearts full of love, gratitude, and thankfulness. Days like today provide us an opportunity to reflect back and what we find is abundant life: love, laughter (lots of laughter with our Dr. Taylor around), gratefulness, purpose, joy, anticipation. Dr. Taylor is spending this weekend receiving Continuing Education with his colleagues! He will be unavailable for emergencies and phone calls. He will be back in the office on Monday Morning. We are excited for him to get a couple of days away, even if it is work related! The office will be open Saturday morning for previously called in refill pick-ups, and food purchases.

We will also be hosting our Kittens and Koffee event on Saturday Morning! So swing by, get a cup of coffee and a donut, while you meet our sweet adoptable cats!! 🐈 ☕️ 🍩

More pets are lost on July 4th than any other holiday. Dogs and cats HATE fireworks! ALWAYS secure your doors, and create a safe indoor-haven (small interior rooms work best). A TV or radio buffers the noise and flashes from fireworks, this also works well during thunderstorms.

One year, Doc treated a pet who jumped through a 2nd story window, on the July 4th. That lucky dog recovered nicely from his cuts and a broken pelvis.

Please, keep them safe! Calming medicines are available for your pets. Remember, by law, veterinarians must examine pets once a year to write and fill prescriptions. 859-623-7387

As part of our commitment to providing timely care, we request that any medication refills for the next week be put in as soon as possible.
