**UPDATE** We don’t want to getour hopes up just yet, buy around 2:30 this morning she got up, yelled at us, used the litter box, ate a little wet food, and went back to bed. We love the little sassiness. If she is awake, then everyone is going to be awake. 😂

No one believes how exhausted you get when you are a rescue. Sleep is overrated, your emotions run high, and with every animal that comes in on the brink of death just puts a toll on you. We received a text around 11:30p tonight about a really sick kitten in the middle of the road. A young couple picked her up and called someone for help. After an hour of fluids, medication, and picking fleas off of her she is finally sleeping. She has a pretty bad upper respiratory infection and the next 24 hours are going to be rough. If you remember we had saved another kitten named Nyx that was left in a dog house that was so sick she wouldn’t do anything. She ended up passing the next morning. So please say a pray for this little girl because we don’t think we can handle another heart break so soon. Thank you to the wonderful couple for contacting someone and to Susan from The Heavenly Hound Pet Cremation for texting us tonight.

This little one was found in the storm drain by the US Bank on the North end of town. This kitten is way to friendly and clean not to be someone’s baby. If it’s yours, you must show proof of ownership.

Scooby has been with us for 868 days. So we are going the extra mile to find him a home. Let’s see how many shares we can get and hopefully find that perfect home for him.

He’s 3yrs old, loves kids, is good with most dogs, and is a little scared of cats. Help us find him a home.

This is not the post we wanted to make, but after a long night of fighting, she peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge. While at the vet’s office this morning she started having seizures. They did everything they could, but her little body couldn’t fight anymore. This is the part of rescue that really puts a toll on you, but we keep going because there is always going to be another Nyx that needs our help. Thank you to everyone for the prayers and donations for all her medical care. She will be going to The Heavenly Hound Pet Cremation and will be coming back to us so she can join some friends in our memorial garden.

**UPDATE** She is still not wanting to eat anything and she has been started on antibiotics. She just received another round of fluids. She is a fighter and needs a strong name. She gives us the cutest little meow when we check on her and give her meds and fluids. Please continue to pray for her. It’s going to be a long night for her, but we will be right by her side. Thank you to everyone that has donated towards her care and thank you to Amy at Whiskers Rescue And Foster Inc. Nonprofit Organization for your help today. It shows how much good we can do when we work together. ❤️

This morning someone dumped off a very sick, very thin kitten. They left it inside a dog house. They did call and leave a message a few hours later telling us it was in there. We rushed there as fast as we could and got her. She was covered in fleas and has a severe URI. After lots of fluids, some nutrients, and a bath to get the fleas off of her it is a waiting game to see if she will pull through. Please pray for this sweet girl. The next 24 hours are going to be critical. She is going to have a lot of medical bills and we could really use your help. Please consider donating and help us name her. Thank you.
