Join us at Old Stone Presbyterian for our annual Ox Roast. Our meat is slowly roasted in our in ground brick fire pit. Also available will be scalloped potatoes, homemade applesauce and desserts, just to name a few.
Our Deacons will have handmade items for sale. The proceeds from the Deacons Bazaar are used to help the members of the community.
Our ox roast is always a fun time for all. The kids can enjoy carnival type games and a bounce house. And there is nothing better than sitting around a table with friends enjoying delicious food! Hope to see you there.

Lori Baney Carpenter and Talisman did a thing today. Paul Brown got to see his girlie at work which was super cool. Our sweet Tee Tee now has 4 points towards her championship. Lori did a great job at the helm. Talisman pulled some stunt work on Lori and knocked her down....Turd!

Talisman went 4 for 6 tries in Senior Barn Hunt over 2 weekends to earn her title, Lettie went 3 for 7 over 3 weekends. Lemme tell ya, senior is no joke! The challenges were super hard but I'm gonna say "that dawg can hunt"! So so so proud of these girls!!!!

Woo hoo! Valkyrie and Scott Carpenter rockin' their school! I hear she was the only dog that could qualify for the search and rescue dog test also and she blew through it super fast. Really fun to watch their progress.

Sharing Caroline Sabo brags. Indy x Sprig daughter Killdeers Rest Aloy On The Horizon BN RA CGCA CGCU TKA FITB with BCAT points, FDC passes, and drum roll...new CD with 2 1st place and 1 2nd place!!! Very proud of these two! They are training on the dock, in agility and in the field. May see them working on their CDX soon. From what I've seen of her retrieves and signals, that might not be so far off! So so proud of this team!!

Building fence...top rail, looking at cute chickies(the Polish genes popping up strong in this layer cross), looking at garlic popping up and buds on elderberry...all but one survived the winter. Spring has sprung.

We have some new residents in the barn here at Killdeers Rest. Last week a hawk also came to visit so these little ones will stay in a safe spot for many weeks. They like the heat lamp with the temp drop today.

Ooh my girls all made top 25 in Barn Hunt competitions for 2022! Proud of them. We went in cold with no practice hardly at all and they acted like pros. If you've never tried it, it's fun!
