Your pet’s L-shaped ear canals make it hard for debris to exit—and easy for bacteria and fungi to grow, especially if the ears are moist—but this cleaner can help. Please don’t use any narrow pointy tools to clean the inner ear, however, as they can rupture the eardrum. Also be aware that scratching, rubbing, redness, tilting the head in one direction, discharge, or odor can be signs of inflammation or a serious infection. Take your pet to the veterinarian if you notice any of these behaviors.

Chicken and Sweet Potato Dog Treats
7 ingredients

Meat
• 1 cup Turkey, cooked

Produce
• 1 tbsp Curly parsley, fresh
• 1 Sweet potato, large

Refrigerated
• 1 Egg, large

Pasta & Grains
• 1 cup Oats, instant

Baking & Spices
• 1 1/2 cups Flour
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Boil the peeled sweet potato over medium-high heat in a small saucepan until very tender, about 10-12 minutes. Drain and mash the potato until creamy. Set aside to cool.
Once the potato has cooled, add the flour, oats, well-beaten egg, chopped chicken, fresh parsley, and salt. Mix until well combined. Add a touch more flour, if the dough is too wet.
Working on a floured surface, knead the dough 3-4 times until it comes together. Using a rolling pin, roll the dough to 1/4-inch thickness. Using dog treat cutters, cut out desired shapes, and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake until golden brown and crisp, about 25-30 minutes.
Cool completely on a wire rack, they will continue to harden as they cool. Store in an airtight container in the freezer or refrigerator. Enjoy

One of the greatest mistakes that pet owners make when their pet escapes is not acting fast enough (assuming their animal will return home on their own overnight), but this only wastes valuable time.❌

Don’t wait. Immediately post brightly colored lost pet signs around the neighborhood and on social media, recruiting help from lost pet pages and calling local vet clinics, animal control, impound facilities and shelters.

4th of July Tragedy. Every year, the days leading up to and following the 4th of July, every shelter fills up with animals frightened by fireworks.
While I honestly wish fireworks were never used, that's something that will never happen.
If you're one of those pet owners who (for whatever reason) refuses to put a collar and tags on your pet,
Please....beginning July 1st, put a phone number on your pet. You don't have to spend any money. Grab some tape and a sharpie or a ink pen and make the minimal effort to keep your pet from ending up at a shelter.
Even if you think there's no way they can or will escape your property, just do it.
If you love your pet(s) it's your job to protect them.
Finding a stray animal with a phone number makes it SO SIMPLE to reunite them with their owner.
Let's make a difference this holiday and keep animals from ending up at a shelter!!
