Zoe Grutkowski had an amazing HITS Ocala VII
🌴 Zoe rode Grafton Street to 🥇 in the USHJA 3’3” Jumpseat, qualifying her for finals. In the 15-17 Equitation, they placed 🥈 on the flat and 4th o/f. Zoe and Johnny competed in their first WIHS Hunter Phase, scoring an 80 for 4th place!
🌴Zoe piloted Zo Beauty to 2nd, 2nd, 3rd and 6th out of 18 in the older 3’3” large juniors scoring an 82 in their classic round. They didn’t finish the classic as they competed in the USHJA National Derby, just missing the cut for ribbons.
🌴 Zoe also had the opportunity to show Cape Girl Z in the jumpers snagging a 4th and 6th in the jr 0.90m, 7th in the open 0.90m and then went double clear for 12th in the classic. Thank you so much to for the rides on Girly! 💕

The Beffert girls had an incredible Saturday with the most wonderful pony Saratoga Frost at HITS Ocala!
💙 Madeline Beffert showed big sister Ellie’s pony “Frosty” for the first time, demonstrating her skills in the Grand Prix ring for the Leadline Division. Miss Maddie came home with a blue ribbon and excellent goodie bag! Thank you .sporthorses.llc
💙 Eleanor Beffert showed in the HITS Crossrails and Advanced Beginner Flat. She demonstrated how much she has grown as a rider being able to take on the added challenges of showing after 5pm — all the while demonstrating excellent horsemanship! Congrats on Champion ❤️💛💙

🌴 Zoe and Johnny (Grafton Street) competed in their first WEC Premier Eq Cup and we can’t get over the photos 🤩
🌴 Zoe and Zeus (Zo Beauty) once again jumped to mid-80s scores in the older 3’3” juniors earning 3rd and 5th over fences. We’ll be at HITS Ocala after a well deserved off week.

🌟WEC Ocala V WCHR Week Highlights 🌟
🌴 Zo Beauty and Zoe Grutkowski warmed up in the USHJA 3’ Hunters, jumping to 5th out of 60+ with a cali split. They had great scores in the 16-17 3’3” Junior Hunters, including an 83.75 and 82, for 4th and 7th, respectively.
🌴 Loxley and Izzy Grutkowski and Loxley warmed up in the meters, placing 6th out of 50+ 🚀 They jumped clear in the 1.10m Junior Jumper Classic but had 2 on the ⏰ to finish 12th.
🌴 Pino D’Aymon and Izzy Grutkowski had lovely rounds all week in the 15-17 Eq, WIHS and the Medal. Their trip on Sunday in the Medal was possibly their best round to date, but an unfortunate rail at the last fence kept them out of the ribbons.
🌴 Grafton Street and Zoe Grutkowski enjoyed great trips in the 15-17 Eq, WIHS and Medal. This was their first WIHS and first full week showing in the 3’6” together and they are looking great!
🌴 Cyrus and Izzy Grutkowski picked up 7th in a huge group of 2’6” USHJA Hunters (45+ cali split)
🌴 Cashmire and Sarah Gleason had consistent rounds, and hacked out beautifully, in an enormous group of Low Adult Hunters.
Back at later this week for the WEC Premier Equitation Cup and more!

Join our team in Ridgefield, CT or Ocala, FL this winter!

Stony Lane is located just minutes from downtown Ridgefield, and ten minutes from Old Salem Farm. Our full service barn is attached to a large indoor arena with travel right footing, new jumps, a heated wash stall and heated viewing room. Our barn family includes junior and amateur riders showing in the hunters, jumpers and equitation. We also have young riders learning the building blocks of horsemanship and equitation.

This winter in Ocala, we are located five minutes from HITS Post Time Farm and ten minutes from WEC. Stony Lane will have a permanent team in each location, and owner Lisa Tomaselli will split her time between the two. Bring your own horse or pony, or let us source you the perfect short- or long-term match for circuit and beyond!
