Hi I’m Julianne !
I am a life long native to Ridgefield and am grateful to be working at Quarry Ridge Animal Hospital! I am an animal lover of all kinds who is a passionate about rescue farms and the rehabilitation of Orangutans in Borneo. I have two orange tabby cats, Gigi and George that I adopted 8 years ago from Roar that I absolutely adore. On the weekends I love to go hiking with my 2 1/2 year old son and partner. I am an avid thrifter, crystal collector and aspiring vegan chef.

Vernie is smiling because February is National Pet Dental Health Month! Did you know according to the AVMA, periodontal disease does not just affect your pet’s mouth? It also affects the kidneys, liver, and heart. Here at Quarry Ridge we can assess your pet’s mouth first during their annual wellness visit, and if needed, during an anesthetic dental procedure. We scale, polish, take radiographs, and provide fluoride treatments. Looking for at home dental care? We recommend the Veterinary Oral Health Council (vohc.org). Give us a call if you have concerns about your pet’s dental health!

Please give a warm welcome to technician Rachel! Rachel came to us after working in a veterinary emergency hospital, and so she’s always up for a challenge. When she’s not at work you may find her at the gym or with a good book, her two dogs by her side! She makes sure to make all the pets she meets feel safe and happy, and she is always met with a wagging tail ♥️ 🐾

✨Get to know our staff!✨

For those of you who have seen Dr. Loren Goldstein, you already know she is smart, passionate, and fun! After graduating vet school at St George’s University, she’s done an internship for small animal medicine and surgery in Long Island, and worked in emergency and critical care. She’s a busy body between seeing her patients here at Quarry Ridge, her three dogs, and three kids & husband at home. Loren’s energy is infectious and we are glad to have her on the team!

Hi, I’m Malia! I’m so excited to join the team at Quarry Ridge Animal Hospital as a part-time veterinary technician and receptionist. I’ve always had a deep love for animals. I love spending my free time with my friends and family whether that be playing board games, watching movies, or going and getting something sweet to eat! We love to celebrate each other! We show up for each other when times get tough, too.

Our Digital CSR, Emily, was diagnosed with ovarian cancer last year. When she started chemotherapy, the team made cards for her every 21 days when she’d have a long day of treatment.

Emily writes:

“You can’t imagine how special a surprise like this feels until you’re holding it in your hands. These cards have made me laugh, distracted me during painful infusions, inspired my own arts and crafts, and made me miss you all even more. The creativity and the artistry!

I know how busy you’ve been and how hard you’re working every day. Thank you taking a moment to make a card for me. I’m honored to have on !”
