Happy Saturday everyone!!!! Just a reminder that Lovable Paws is still dealing with a lot of snow, Ice and cold temps. Some snow left us yesterday but also left a lot of mud that is now frozen again. We will not be open today and are going to be posting a lot this week to have a wonderful adoption weekend next week. We hope everyone is staying safe out there and watch out for the black ice.

Sylvester has an important announcement for the upcoming weekend. He is not enjoying the cold and snow and he knows his friends are not either. The farm got about 1/4" of ice before the 4" of snow/sleet came and we will be a muddy mess when the temps start going above freezing. Therefore we WILL NOT be open this weekend to visitors. If you do have a pre-approved application and would like to make an appointment we will do that on SATURDAY ONLY. Please note that most of the dogs will NOT come out in the cold or be who they are so it will be better to wait til next weekend when things are hopefully back to normal. Applications are on our website but we do need time to process them so get them in now if you want to meet someone on Saturday. You also need to remember that your trip here may include a bridge and most of the bridges are closed to traffic due to black ice. We know everyone is looking for a forever home but we also need to be safe. Thank you to everyone that is checking in, we will get through this but we also need to be safe. The phone is intermittent working so it is best to text.

Shout out to everyone that turned a rainy cold day into a little fun. Thank you to Side Hustle for hosting and congrats on the launch of Queen Bean. Thank you to Woof Gang for always supporting us, And Purley Inc, who made candles to Honor Queen Bean donated proceeds to Lovable Paws. Thank you to all the alumni's that came out to say hello and another big thank you to all the LPR volunteers that help promote the furkids and help put these events together. Sweetie enjoyed the kissing booth and Jenny and Raven were a hit. Teeny Weeny got into the building and I don't think her feet touched the floor for the entire event. All the kids were well behaved and loved the attention they all had visitors and I think a few will be going out this week.

Don't forget our adoption hours this weekend. The farm will be open on FRIDAY open 11 to 1 and SATURDAY 10 to 12 and then we will be at Side Hustle in Bluffton with a few dogs from 1 to 4. Looks like we might need rain gear on Saturday. See you soon!!!!
