Are you looking for a furry friend to add to your family? Look no further!!! We have all kinds of colors, breeds, ages and more. Great Danes, standard poodles, chihuahuas, mixed breeds and a whole lot of black dogs that constantly get overlooked. Our adoption fees cover a spay/neuter, all vaccines, a lifetime registered microchip and they are given lots of love while they wait for a forever home. A number of our longtimers have adoption fee sponsorship on them. We are also known for having the most small dogs in the area. So, if you are trying to decide on adding a family member to your home, now is the time! There are so many dogs in need of a home and whether you adopt from Lovable Paws or another animal rescue/shelter it will create a space to save another life. We are open to the public on Fridays 11 to 1 and Saturdays 10 to 3. Come on out to our 5 acre farm, sit down and see who picks you. Share our post around to your friends and family who may want to bring home one of our wonderful dogs.

Lovable Paws has so many wonderful dogs available for adoption and if you are looking for a special fur baby to add to your family just come on by to meet them all.
Meet Allie, she gets overlooked and has been with us for a while. She came in with littermates and all of her siblings have found forever homes. Allie is super sweet, has some energy because she is young and just wants a family to love on her. A kind family has placed some sponsorship on her adoption fee in hopes of her finding a home for the holidays. Come on by to meet this sweet girl who is on the smaller side of 40 pounds and around 2 years old now. She gives great kisses.

With the colder weather coming we still need to replace some beds for some of the kids. We have enough beds but could use a few hands putting them together. If you have a few hours to spare come on by on Friday or Saturday.

These are strays that have come in. Some are still on medical hold for various reasons and we did have to help one cross over from being shot. The stray holds have been completed and they will be ready for a forever home soon. However, if you know the owner of anyone of these let them know that they are at Lovable Paws Rescue in Ridgeland. A few of them had chips and we have not received anything back from the owner so they will be put up for adoption. We do need the space to continue to help the community with the number of strays that are still out there that need safety. Everyone is full and the shelters are doing their best to not kill for space but the strays that are injured or sick are dying in the woods or getting hit by cars. It is a mess!!!! We can't save them all and we can't solve this problem overnight. We just need to find a solution so we don't have a large medical bill when we pick up an injured dog. Our public adoption days are Fridays 11 to 1 and Saturdays 10 to 3.

Thank you to Vicki Flatt at Tractor Supply for discounting these kennel panels. We will be able to fix a few runs we have from old age and add a couple new runs for those babies that need a place to chill. Is there anyone that wants to come out and help put these together? Well needed upgrade for sure. We have been without a couple runs for a bit and now we will be able to fix them and add a couple.

I just wanted to give a shout out to all the dedicated volunteers that come out every week to help with the care of all the dogs at Lovable Paws. Although there were no adoptions this week it gave us all extra time to spend with the dogs for that extra love. Thank you guys, I couldn't do this without you.

This girl was brought in off the streets of Jasper County and her stray hold is now over. She will be looking for a forever home as soon as she can get to the vets for her final exam and she will be getting fixed. Come by to meet her she is a doll.

This injured and emaciated boy was found in Ridgeland, SC and brought to Lovable Paws for help. He is receiving the care he needs and is safe. If you are the owner or know the owner give us a call.

Hershey cannot figure out why he is still here. We are stumped as well. This older gentleman finds himself looking for a forever home through no fault of his own. Do you have it in your heart and home to give this sweet boy a chance?

This weeks $5.00 Friday will buy a pallet of dog food. Most of the food available to us is being sent to all the areas damaged by the hurricanes and floods. We were able to get this one. It is a mixed brand pallet but at least we will have food for the week. Total cost $184.
