These beautiful golden girls, Abby and Josie, came over this week for their spa day. They are kept on regular schedules of 7-8 weeks which helps their parents manage the shedding at home. This schedule also helps these girls keep a healthy skin and shiny coat🐕✨

This is the season of pool openings and beach trips and as such most of our clients are getting their dogs ready with shorter haircuts.
Curly hair gets easily matted if not dried and brushed after getting wet. Therefore, keeping your dog’s fur short, if he/she enjoys playing in the water, is a safe bet this season!☀️💦
We have limited slots for dogs kept on a 4-8 week groom schedule. Go ahead and submit a ‘new client’ form through our website if you would like to book with us. We are booking about 6 weeks out with very few openings here and there🩵🐕

Maybellene came in for her 1st puppy appointment out of the 4 in our puppy package. We took our time introducing bathing, blow drying, ear cleaning and nail trimming. She was so relaxed by the end that she napped until mom came back💕

Did you know that regular ear plucking is crucial in preventing those pesky ear infections?

Dogs need their ears kept clean and clear of excess hair to avoid buildup and potential infections. By gently plucking out excess hair from their ear canals, we’re helping them to maintain proper airflow, decrease moisture and therefore reduce the risk of bacterial growth.

Ask us about ear plucking if your dog has abundance of hair in their ears and suffers from ear infections often. Remember that prevention is often more cost effective than taking a trip to the vet to seek treatment of an infection.

We loved pampering Dolly during her first puppy groom!🩵 Dolly is signed up for the ‘intro to grooming’ package consisting of 4 appointments 3 weeks apart to introduce her to grooming in a fear-free manner. During the appointments, we slowly introduce different facets of grooming. Her first appointment introduced bathing, blow drying, ear cleaning and nail clipping besides grooming table manners.

Besides full grooms, we also offer tidy up grooms for in-between full groom appointments. This is beneficial to dogs that get dirty quickly and/or need to get just their face/feet/fanny trimmed prior to their next full body haircut😊
