I thought she wanted Diamond to get off her new bed, but she wanted to play with her as you can see in the other video! I think Diamond was a bit intimidated. Biscotti came in from playing outside in the heat and is in need of a bath, but she's not worried about it! She is still looking for a new home, though we have a few people showing interest. Praying she finds a really wonderful home soon!
Diamond, the chihuahua won't play with her!
Monkeying around
Here is our boy Monkey or Wolfgang "monkeying around" on the kayaks. He is probably the most affectionate of all the puppies because he wants ALL the attention! He is our only boy left and is looking for a forever home!
Puppy playtime
Two puppies were out for pictures while the rest were waiting their turn- a little impatiently!
Lazy day
All puppies will go to their new homes wormed and up to date on their vaccines. We still have 4 puppies looking for forever homes. They will be ready to go on or after May 12th. Great Pyrenees are wonderful livestock guardians and are family friendly. They are known to be gentle with and protect children. They do need a fenced area that can keep them in and they are known to bark (that is part of their job as guardians). They will keep predators away on the ground and in the air. Contact us if you are interested in visiting the pups or have any questions.
Mother and son
Alfred hanging out with his mama...
Nursing time!
They still love nursing on mama, but also eat Iams Large Breed puppy food 3 times a day!
Lounging outside in their puppy area on a warm sunny day...
Our last pup of this litter went to his new home on Tuesday of this week. It was so much fun to have him around longer. He was such a good boy learning to potty train and watching him play with his mom. Every morning Freyja (his mama) would go looking for him to play with him. He was kept separately from them at night to be sure he was safe because we couldn't watch him (we have a duck pond and we've recently found some hornets nests). I took several pictures before he left to have memories!
Olvir and Freyja have been spending time in our room each night play fighting. They are known for doing that outdoors, but lately are bringing it inside. They are so fun to watch! Here is a quick recording of Freyja dominating.
Hilda, our last female, went to her new home yesterday in NY. It is so hard to see these sweet puppies go! I am thankful when the new parents send me pictures as that helps the process. It is not easy ensuring good homes for puppies, but it is the only way I can imagine letting them go. Here is a cute picture of Hilda wanting to come back inside. I love the paw action!
It is so much fun to watch them play/fight! This was earlier today...Svalbard (Alexander) and Hilda...as mama watches.
One more video for the night. Here are the pups on the back porch watching their parents patrol the area. Hilda really wants to join in! That is her whining/barking. We are going to miss these babies!
Sweet Hilda
It is hard to believe that Hilda is the only puppy left to find a forever home. She was inquired about by several people, but unfortunately the family that had planned to get her could not drive the 12 hours from Illinois, so she is now available again. I am sure not for long, though!
