We are looking for someone RELIABLE who lives in the Ridgeville/Summerville area preferably with experience handling horses and flexible availability to help with 1-3 feed shifts per week, including WEEKEND shifts at Traveler's Crossing Equestrian. If you are not available on weekends, PLEASE do NOT contact me, as these are the shifts I need covered most ☺️🐴!! Duties involve giving feed and hay, turning out, blanketing and cleaning up to 8 stalls! Must have reliable transportation. Traveler's Crossing Equestrian has a pasture spot available!! Our fun, peaceful farm has a center aisle barn, and a climate controlled tack room with a bathroom and hot/cold water utility sink. Our roomy wash stall is inside the barn and has hot/cold water. We have a large fenced jumping arena with grass footing that never has standing water or mud...you can literally jump a course anytime!! We also have a 20 x 60 dressage arena with mirrors, and a huge field for schooling, hacking or conditioning (thanks to our generous neighbor). We have the perfect atmosphere for adult amateur riders who want to compete at shows, or just hang out at the farm and enjoy time with their horse and other like-minded humans. We have extensive experience taking care of older, retired horses, as well as young horses, and treat each of them like they are our own (just ask our boarders 🐴). Owners live on the farm, and each horse is given a personalized diet and care.

Our local equine community has been devastated and our worlds have been rocked by the news that a neighbor has shot 4 of Marcy Hippey's horses, resulting in the death of 1, the loss of an eye of another, and serious injuries to the others 💔. Marcy has served selflessly as out SCDCTA president, and has created a sanctuary at her own farm for horses and dogs in need of rescue. Vet bills add up quickly, so I am asking that we all come together to help her financially as she deals with the emotional trauma of having the unimaginable happen to her beloved animals 🙏🏻😢. You can donate directly to Marcy's sanctuary (non-profit). Thank you for coming together to show her support 🐴🙏🏻❤️.
